I'm now about half way through and I have to say I'm really impressed with the quality of the writing and the story.

yes! i love ray bradbury + usually read something wicked this way comes around this time of year. decided to mix it up this year because i found a nice copy of the october country at the used bookstore just in time for the season. :D

Aaron B | 86 comments I'm about halfway through The Passenger (Cormac McCarthy). It's a book that is taking as-you-go rereads to follow, but as usual, the language resonates and his phrasing is memorable. No punctuation in the dialog (as usual with McCarthy).

i'm in the last 50 pages, and i'm so into it. i'm already a huge fan of t. kingfisher, but she is outdoing herself with this one, imo. loving the characters + the animal companions. (wouldn't be a kingfisher book without the animal companions, lol.)

I haven't read many of her novels, I will definitely be reading more!
