Celia Buell (semi hiatus) (celiareadsbooks) | 3944 comments For the Stonewall Award books, can we use the picture books on the Mike Morgan & Larry Romans Children’s & Young Adult Literature Award such as When Aidan Became A Brother by Kyle Lukoff or do these books have to fit regular page count requirements?

And in general can I use picture books?

You can use picture books if you combine enough to reach the 100 page limit. All books would have to fit the prompt as well.

I think I actually tried to combine two lists, but they're correct now lmao. Thanks!

Ellen-Arwen Tristram | 2341 comments I just read The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow which has a biracial character - but now I've found out the author is not biracial or PoC! I don't think I want to count it; what do other people think?

I wouldn't for the BIPOC prompts, but if it fits somewhere else that would be fine.

message 18: by Simone (new)

Simone (simonec75) Andy, I think one of the links doesn't take you where it is supposed to take you. It's in the Religion category: 6. Read a book from the Books with Jewish Protagonists that are not set in WW2 list: https://hercommonplaceblog.wordpress....

It takes you to the blog, but not to the topic you mention.

Hmmm when I clicked on them all in the threads and spreadsheet it took me to the right place. It doesn't show the full link in either of the comments though so I'm not sure what's happening. I'll post it here too to see if that helps.

If you copy the part of the link above and add this, it should take you to the right place
