Not too sure then...maybe remove and reinstall the app on your phone? To be honest, the Goodreads app is not great at all

Are you trying to make the change on the app? There are a couple ways to do it depending on whether you're on the app or online.

If you can get online, come to this thread and just above the text box that you post in there is a link you can click on to get notifications. You can hit edit next to it to change how you want to get notified - notification vs email, etc.

On the app, when you scroll to the bottom, just below where you add a comment there is an option for "topic notification settings" you can click on.

I found it online but I can't seem to find the "topic notification settings" in the app.

I had a similar problem with a friend telling me there was an expiration date on an audiobook. She posted a screenshot of her app and it was there. It was not on mine. We guessed it was because she's in Canada and I'm in the US, but we really had no clue why it would be on hers and not mine.

I hope you're able to figure it out and get your notifications the way you want.

I’m going through the worst breakup in my life after 6 years and this book I feel is gonna hurt my soul, maybe in a good way idk. My parents also died so this maybe too triggering for me. But I will continue to keep updated on your other book reads 🤍
