Play Book Tag discussion

This was announced as the last installment in the Peculiar Crimes series with 2 elderly detectives and their zany crew. The author started the series about 20 years ago with the idea of two Golden Age detectives in London still working in the modern era. While that could just about work in the year 2000, even Bryant and May can't keep working forever. Just like the first book in the series, this one circles back to the founding of the Peculiar Crimes Unit. The series usually has information about unknown parts of the history, folklore and architecture of London. There is a hint in the Afterword that maybe there will be more after all, and I certainly hope so (maybe lost cases investigated in earlier eras?)
