I finished The Boardwalk Trust. One more left in the series. Switching to Boneyard which is a physical book.

Finished The Boardwalk Option which kills off Beach Lawyer series.

Started The Assassin as it is extremely dusty sitting on my TBR shelf. It’s been sitting there since 2012. Wanted to get to it now before it turned into a teenager. 😁

Finished the Erika Foster series. As the series progresses, I like her less and less but like the supporting characters more.

Yeah, it would be hard keeping up with a series when the MC lags behind the supporting characters in like-ability. I cannot think of one that I personally have come across like that, specifically.

No worries. Dom was finishing a chunky book so we just picked Lincoln Rhymes.

I finished Cross Country. It was so far fetched that I was almost permanently rolling my eyes.

I just got a library notice that the Penn Cage book, The Devil's Punchbowl, is available to download. Going there now!

I am still reading two stand-alone books, but I can start it right away. :o) Okay for you?

We are having another heatwave here this week. It is 6:25pm and 100F outside. 25% humidity and no breeze. When I closed up my house this morning at 6:30am it was 63F outside. Should be the same for tomorrow. Ugh!

Wehaving a humidity break until friday. There's no rain on sight.

We are hitting those temps again next week. Just had them last week.

It is 8:40pm and the temp just dropped below 90F. Humidity up to 45 right now. We have to make over the weekend (Sat and Sun @ 101) before we get back into the 80s, which is normal for us. My boss just got home from a month in Florida and he said doesn’t like it so hot but without the Florida humidity, it is nothing compared to there. I need to go out and put the water on some of my shrubs. They are practically laying on the ground. Then - back to reading!

I am abandoning the Ryan Kealey series. The first book was ok, as was the second but this third one I started questioning why am I trying to force it. That’s when I realized I just don’t care about the series.
