PattyMacDotComma | 922 comments I'm sure we've all been guilty of Keeping Up Appearances or worrying 'what will the neighbours think'. Aussie author Tricia Stringer gives us a group of older women in a small South Australian town who think they know all the town's secrets. HA! I can see why the author is so popular.

I may get to 66 by New Year's Eve if I'm lucky. It's been a super busy and strange year, and we're ending it with my dog having a serious seizure and my sweet hubby getting covid during the first business trip in two years. I am hoping for a non-eventful 2023.

Thursday Murder Club #3, best to read series in order. I don't know how this guy does it -- each book is better than the last. Absolutely wonderful, highest recommendation, 5 stars.

Richard Jury #12. I like this series a lot; I've been reading the books in order. This is the first one I didn't like -- it's very confusing and reads like it was written by someone else; the style seems quite different to me. I quit halfway through - 1 star.

Our German shepherd is 8 years old now and the vet said he has creaky knees. He has to take two huge pills daily for the rest of his life.
My husband probably has Parkinson's...we'll meet his neurologist on 12/29 and find out for sure. He took both tests, MRI and DaT.

This is not a good Christmas for us and not a good year. Hoping that 2023 will be better again. Books are my only consolation right now.

All the best for your husband and your dog! ♥

Merry Christmas,

Chrissie
