Great mix, Amber. I read the first Shannara book many years ago and I'm working through the Earthsea stories (I love Ursula LeGuin). Welcome to the group and good luck with your reading challenges.

Lea (leaspot) | 3640 comments Oh, you've got some great books here, Amber. I have read Persuasion, Moloka’i, Middlemarch, A Tale of Two Cities, The Historian, Peace Like a River, and East of Eden. You've got some great fantasy books in there too. I hope to get caught up on all the fantasy series that catch my eye, but there are so many. Enjoy your books!

Lillie | 1690 comments Nice list Amber! Have read and enjoyed Persuasion and Moloka'i. And have Middlemarch on my list as well. Looking forward to your thoughts on those books.

Also, is Going Postal a Terry Pratchett? I have Color of Magic on my list this year. I've been trying to figure out when a good time to start that series was. Guess 2022 is it. How do you like the series?

Ioana | 2127 comments Interesting list, Amber, with some very good books. Probably my favorite is Moloka'i, I can't wait to hear what you think of your selections. Happy reading!

Yes! Going Postal is Terry Pratchett. My husband loves Terry Pratchett so I've made it a goal to read more of his books.

If The Colour of Magic is your first Terry Pratchett, read it with a grain of salt. Apparently his later Discworld books are much better. And they can be read out of order, so that's something to keep in mind too!

Good to know about The Color of Magic! It is my first Terry Pratchett. These books have been around for so long and I've been meaning to pick them up. Decided that 2022 was the year to start the series.
Saw that you can read them in different orders. I'm starting on The Color of Magic because that's the one I have on my shelves. Purchased it years ago and it's been on my shelf ever since.
