He had been sailing the sees since he was young. When he came of age, he joined up with a privateer to hunt down the man who had poisoned his father and made his poor mother loose her mind in grief. Once he had killed the man, he was promoted to captain his own ship "The Relentless." He helped attack Spanish treasure ships and grow his crew. Eventually the practice of privateering was outlawed and he went rogue along with his crew.

Richard sat at the bar in an inn in Tortuga. He was looking for a woman who was supposed to know by memory where a great treasure was. He was one of only a small few that knew of the treasure at all. He had searched the whole town with his crew and came up short. He had his crew re supplying his ship. While he sat here and enjoyed a few drinks to calm his thoughts.

But then the doors opened and he turned, seeing the woman walk into the inn. He took a small breath and tried to sober up. He wondered if he could seduce her to his ship then take her hostage. that would be his plan. He just hoped he was sober enough to pull it off. Otherwise he could always just hold her at gunpoint.

Niran | 681 comments It had been a busy day full of dress making, fabrics everywhere and endless amounts of sewing and stitching. Tortuga had a few high society costumers, and all of them came to Ayda's shop for dresses, making her a very busy, very tired woman.

She stepped into the candlelit pub, clicking her achy fingers and sighing as she passed by drunken men, cackling women and a trio of entertainers playing instruments and singing to set the joyous mood that filled the pub. Ayda walked to the bar, leaning against it," Rum, please", she asked the server. She took her rum and walked to one of the tables in the corner, her dress trailing behind her slightly and her feet dragging on the floor. She felt grateful for a seat, feeling at ease instantly, her body relaxing. She drank her rum and fiddled with her necklace, a gold locket with engravings on it.

Richard watched as the woman approached the bar and he could not help but eye her up as she leaned against bar. Trying to stealthily admire her assets. Then she soon walked away and he admired her dress she was wearing and watched her sit down at her table alone. He got up and went over to her table. "You are such a lovely lady, you look like you could use some company or at least another free drink or two." He said doing his best to be smooth. "You look so very pretty in your dress and your locket complements your eyes and hair nicely. I am Richard by the way. And who might this beauty be?" He said offering her a hand to shake.

Niran | 681 comments Ayda was still gulping down most of her drink when a stranger approached, giving her compliments and clearly trying to flirt. She put her nearly empty drink down and looked at him with scepticism, glancing at his outstretched hand. It was not a smooth hand, somewhat callous and dry.
"Richard", she said, feeling the name in her mouth and finding it tasted strange.
She didn't take his hand but she leaned forward and looked at him, her eyes roaming," Are you trying to seduce me, Richard?"
"I'll warn you now, you'll get no where with me. I am very tired today and do not seek to lie with a man tonight", she sighed, giving him a raised of her eyebrows. She had many men approach her throughout her life, and she always liked to give them a hard time. She liked to taunt and tease, pull and push.

Richard looked at her curiously as she only spoke his name back to him, did she know who he was? Did she know he was here for her? He then chuckled at her words, sensing a little bit of teasing to her voice. Alost as if she was daring to pursue her more to see if he was worth it. "Well I suppose I must not be as good at it as others tell me I am." He said trying to joke with her. "Well the least you can do is tell me your drink. I'll buy you as much drinks as you want so long as you entertain our conversation. Come now, lets just blow off some steam. It has been a long day for the both of us." He says trying to be smooth with her, then he finished the rest of his ale.

message 10: by Niran (new)

Niran | 681 comments She eyed him, a soft expression on her face. She looked him up and down and shook her head slowly, "You're not so bad"
She glanced into her cup and remembered there was only a little bit left. She gulped the rest of it down, licking the remainder of it off of her lips and tilted her cup at him.
"Rum, dear Richard, rum will be the price for my conversation and lovely company", she smiled. She got up, handing him her cup, their fingers gliding against each other, warm and static. She walked back to the bar, holding her dress in her hands gently to make sure it didn't drag too much.
She liked to give men small gestures to show she was the one in charge, if they weren't so frightened or shocked by her gestures or how brazen she was then she would allow them to speak with her. Ayda put her hands on her hips, her exposed collarbone protruding and her chest becoming more exposed, waiting for her rum.

Richard smiled as she seemed to allow him to stay, liking her saying he was not bad. Richard watched her drink her cup of rum. "Then rum it is then." He said about to go up and buy them both cups of rum. Then she touched his hand as she gave him the cup and got up. He instantly felt the warm static of her touch. He liked her warm touch. He was a bit confused with the conversation but he did not say anything. He found himself admiring her as she stood and waited for her drinks. He enjoyed her heart shaped hips and rear, outlined by her hands. He could not help but admire her sexy skin showing and her shapely chest exposed. "You are indeed a beautiful woman if I am allowed to say that." He said to her with a smile as she came back. "Though I never did get your name. That or I am too drunk to remember." He said to her with a smile. Looking into her pretty eyes as she sat down and looked at him.

Niran | 681 comments Ayda could feel his eyes on her, roaming about, seeing her shape and figure. It wasn't hard to tell that this man was already fascinated by her. It made her smirk to herself.
She looked back to him, looking in to his eyes," You are allowed to say that". She enjoyed compliments, she enjoyed knowing that she was intriguing someone.
"Hm, you're right. My name is Ayda", she smiled, getting her drink and winking smoothly at Richard.
"You don't look very familiar, Richard. I was born and raised here, and I know a lot of faces. But I've not seen yours. What brings you to Tortuga?". Tortuga had its residents and had its regulars, it was usually men that were stopping to stock up on supplies and then make their way back to the sea again. They stopped for pleasure, drinking and trading. Ayda had come to see and know these faces that stopped here every once in a while. Tortuga was mostly known for being an island for pirates, a rowdy place that gave them everything they wanted. She looked Richard up and down, trying to figure out if she should be cautious with him.

Richard chuckled from her words. Happy that she accepted his complement. “Ayda is a unique name. I haven’t heard too many of those before. A unique name for a unique woman.” He said smiling into her eyes. “Yes well I doubt you have seen me before I’m a pirate captain and I hop from island to island looking for supplies. Now I am here spending money here to resupply my ship. He then turned to her with a smile. “So tell my Ayda, what is a woman with your beauty doing on this island. You seem like you should be impressing a rich man and living a comfortable life? What do you do here on the island?” He asked her now certain that he had his girl and wanting to know more about her. He somewhat boldly moved a hand to hers on the table lightly moving his fingers over her smooth skin.

message 14: by Niran (new)

Niran | 681 comments After listening to everything he had to say, she felt his warm, callous fingers moving against her skin. She looked to him, her eyebrows raised in a surprised yet amused way.
"A pirate captain, you say? Well well...how impressive". She could imagine him being a fair yet firm captain. Usually, people needed to be quiet about pirates and piracy, but Tortuga was a pirate island. Piracy was a crime and anyone involved in such a thing could be severely punished. She knew, her father was a pirate, she had grown up around it and seen a number of things. English soldiers rarely came to Tortuga, knowing they were outnumbered and out matched. But soon, Ayda felt they would come and try to take over, try to rule and punish.
She let out a small laugh, his assumptions amusing her. "I'm not the kind of woman rich men seek, and a comfortable life is not what I want. I like being in Tortuga, it's full of mystery and chaos, I like that it's loud and rowdy". She drank some more of her rum, looking back to Richard and wiggling her fingers at him," I make dresses. I sew and stitch and mend".
She leant on her elbows and looked at him with a flirty look,"I am very good with my hands, Richard". She gave a small chuckle and looked around, seeing a few women sitting on mens laps, seeing people cheering and drinking like it was their last time, the band singing and playing.
"Your ship...what's it called?", she asked curiously, looking back to Richard.

Richard could see the amused look in her eyes and he enjoyed it. “Well a pirate captain flirting with a woman who likes mystery and chaos. Seems like we are both talking to the right people. Is that how you like your men in bed? Loud and rowdy?” He asks her playfully. He smirked as she leaned on her elbows and gave him a good view of her bountiful chest. “Oh I have no doubt you are good with your hands. I like a woman who is handy.” He says enjoying her chuckle and gently taking her hand she wiggled and bringing it to his mouth kissing her knuckles. “I like to think I am very good with my lips and tongue”. He watched her look around and watch the women on their men’s laps. “Well Ayda would you like to come and get more comfortable?” He asked her as he patted his lap. Offering her to sit on his lap. “Or would you rather we go back to my ship the Relentless.” He said to her with a playful smirk.

message 16: by Niran (new)

Niran | 681 comments "You, sir, are far too smug for your own good", Ayda replied, shaking her head and chuckling at his comments. This man knew he was good looking and charming and used it to his advantage, but Ayda was used to the ways of men like him. Ayda drank the rest of her rum, pushed her hair back which was half up and half down and loosely tied, and stood up," I would very much like to see The Relentless". Ayda was fond of ships and the sea, it called to her, it was in her blood. When she was younger her father had always told her to be aware of pirates and the sea, he would tell her they were all liars and sweet talkers, and that the sea was no place for a woman. He hadn't seen the type of woman she had become.
"Lead the way, Captain", Ayda gestured with her hand to the exit of the pub.

Richard laughed happily at her reply of him being smug. He then smiled and watched her play with her beautiful hair. He then was surprised at how easily she agreed to come with him. “Oh you would like it a good sloop for pirating.” He said as he stood up then paid her tab. Then he went back to her and walked with her out into the dark star filled night. He wrapped his arm around her waist and idly admired her hips as they walked. “So do you want your dessert before or after the tour?” He asked her playfully wanting to take her to his cabin and enjoy her in bed. His plan was actually working relatively well. Soon they were walking down the docks and he motioned towards his ship. “Here she is the old beauty.” He said proud to show off his hard life’s work. He then took her hands and walked her up the planks so now she was standing on the main deck of the gently swaying ship.

message 18: by Niran (new)

Niran | 681 comments Ayda gave him a playful slap on the hand, shaking her head and rolling her eyes at his comment about dessert. This man was extremely cheeky, part of her was cautious but part of her was also intrigued.
The night was beautiful, warm and welcoming, the sky full of stars. Ayda suddenly stopped, seeing the ship and being thoroughly impressed by it. She let out a slight and small gasp, captured by the ship. It was mighty and beautiful. She felt Richard take her hands and lead her up on to the deck, it was even more beautiful from this view.
"Wow, she's beautiful", Ayda stated, looking around at everything. The colour of the ship was a dark mahogany, enticing and alluring.
"My father did not have a ship as grand as this one", she chuckled, looking back at him with a small smile.

Richard smiled and chuckled as she slapped his hand away from her hips. He was happy to see that she was impressed with his ship. If he had his way, she would be sailing on it tomorrow. He smiled from her cute gasp. He gleamed with pride as she admired his ship. "She really is. She has been through a lot and I try to treat her right." He said to her with a smile. "Oh was your father a pirate?" He asked her as he gently took her hands and lead her up to the steering wheel of she ship so she could get a view of what it looked like to drive and command the vessel. The stars bounced off the water, making it look like they were flying in nothingness. The temperature was warm and inviting. The lanterns of the ship and dock where the only things to remind them they were in port. "This is where my first mate sails the ship to our destination." Richard told her and nodded to his crew that were up there at the time. He went to one and whispered to him the plan. Then turned back to Ayda and smiled. "I'll make you a deal. I'll show you my captain's quarters and you show me what your hands can do. Then afterwards, I'll give you the grand tour where you can wander where you want and ask questions to your hearts content." He said to her as he playfully went to her and wrapped an arm around her slim waist. Wanting to get her to enjoy her time on his ship.

Niran | 681 comments Ayda had her hands on the wheel, she felt her heart beating faster and her breathing become ragged. She felt like she was home, she felt a longing and love for it. She had never had such an intense feeling. She could see a few crew members wandering around, doing their duty, but the moment she touched the wheel they all disappeared. It was like she was the only one on the ship. Ayda removed her hands from the wheel suddenly. She turned to face Richard and let out a laugh at his comment," Captain Richard, do you think I am an easy women? That because I flirt and fluster you will have your way with me?".
She gave a sigh and moved away from his hands, putting her hands on her hips, her face becoming more serious," How about I do nothing of the sort and you show me your ship anyway?". Ayda raised her eyebrows in a way that showed him she was the one in control, not the other way around. Some might say she was stupid to come on a ship full of pirates, that she was stupid to follow this captain, but she knew what she could and couldn't do.

Richard rolled his eyes at her comments of being an easy woman. Making sound like all of his efforts for her were simple and easy. "Fine I suppose I can still show you around. Though you didn't need to ruin the game. You are lucky I am a gentleman Ayda." He said looking slightly offended. He motioned for her to follow him, he brought her down below deck and showed her the cannons and the armory. Showed her the dinning space, the kitchen and quietly through the crew quarters. Their tour ended in the empty brig with some of the crew on duty. Then with a whistle, they seized her. Richard walked to her and took her pendant off of her. then the guards threw her in the brig and locked the cell. "You should have taken the first deal Ayda. It would have work out better for all of us." He told her with a smirk. He then turned and ordered his men to set sail. They had the map and needed to get her away before anyone noticed.

Niran | 681 comments She rolled her eyes, seeing that his male ego was suddenly hurt because she wouldn't sleep with him. Ayda followed the Captain quietly, taking the silent tour and taking in every inch of the ship. She was very impressed with The Relentless, she was vast and strong.
Before she could even blink, she was being seized by the crew. She kicked and screamed," You bastard!". She clawed and trashed, even scratching at one of the crew members face, drawing blood.
When Captain Richard was closed, she made sure to spit in his face. "You will regret this", she threatened, baring her teeth. For now, she was locked away.

Richard took her pendant and went to her quarters He washed her spit off of him. Then slept as the ship sailed away during the night. the next day they were at sea. Richard woke up and ate his breakfast. Then got her breakfast. He went down to see Ayda in the brig. "I am sorry I had to do this to you." He said truthfully. He then slid her breakfast under the bars and sat down in a hammock. He found it strange at her baring her teeth to his crew and her clawing at them, he was superstitious and that that she might be some creature in disguise. But he did not say anything to her. "You were rude to me and I was rude back, now we are even." He explained to her seriously. "I know who you are Ayda. I was looking for you on the island. But you probably already know that. I know you know where a fortune is buried. I need you to reveal it to us. If you cooperate you will be rewarded with freedom around the ship and your own private residence in my quarters. But if you resist, well lets just say there is more than your pendant we can still take from you." He explained to her trying to be nice, as if this was a fresh start.

message 24: by Niran (new)

Niran | 681 comments Ayda had slept uncomfortably. The floor was hard and cold, but the rock of the boat helped slightly, as if luling her to sleep.
She awoke and sat up, touching her neck and feeling bare. They took her pendant, but the pendant was not the key. She heard foot steps and saw that it was the Captain, her face was straight and emotionless at his apology. She didn't care to hear it. But she was hungry, so she took the food and started to eat as if she was ravenous. Her head snapped to him, he knew who she was? He knew about her and the fortune? She didn't care for his threats nor was she scared or shaking in her boots. There was more to her than she let on.
"You're wrong...I don't know where the fortune is buried. I've never known the location, all I know is that my blood is the key", Ayda stated, being factual and precise. She wasn't lying, she just didn't know if he would believe her. "My father told me one day this would happen...someone would find me and kidnap me and use me", she let out a defeated chuckle, shaking her head at her naivety. Her father had warned her, she just never truly believed him.

Richard raised an eyebrow at her words. "Your blood is the key?" He asked her as he repeated her words. He could tell that she was not afraid of him and that muddied if he thought she was being truthful or not. He then chuckled from what her father said. "Well we want to treat you well. Hell if everything goes well. We might make you a member of the crew. You would like that right? To be able to sail on a ship with your own family?" He said to her with a soft smile. "Blood?" He went back to thinking as he looked back at her pendant. "Linage, species and life." He said trying to figure it out, those types of blood coming to his mind. "Well tell me of your father. Was he the one who owned this fortune?" He asked her as he looked over her pendent and examined it. "I can tell you don't like your sleeping conditions. I'll go grab you a hammock when I leave. Make it a bit better for you." He said thinking she was behaving well so far.

Niran | 681 comments "I don't want to be part of your ship and crew...one day, I will have my own", she said softly, looking off into the distance. She knew that was strange, a woman having her own ship and crew. Many pirates believed that having a woman on board was bad luck, many pirates were superstitious.
Ayda gave a sigh, giving in. She was on this ship now and she needed to work with him. There was no other choice.
"My father was a pirate. His name was Zefer Koydan, he was the captain of The Malikas Revenge. I don't know if he owns the fortune but I do believe we must find him to find the fortune. I know he knows more than me. He never told me much, just gave me warnings and predictions". She eyed him, seeing him fiddling with her pendant, she couldn't help but clench her jaw out of anger.
"Let me out", she said, standing up and pacing," Where else am I going to go? We've left Tortuga and we are in the middle of the ocean". There was literally no where for her to run.

Richard chuckled from her words. "Well Ayda, you need experience first. One does not go from a Taylor to a ship captain. And if they do, it would not take long for a mutiny. We can give you experience here and let you work your way up the ranks." He explained to her with a smile. He then listened to her as she explained what she knew about her father. He then sighed and stood up. "You have been a good girl. I suppose you have earned your freedom for now." He told her as he got up and unlocked the cell she was in freeing her. "Now come with me to my cabin. I'll show me a map and you will show me there your father Zefer is." He said as he handed her pendant back to her as he saw no real value in it. He then lead her up through the ship to his personal quarters. It was large with a large bed at the back and a large desk in the middle to the left was a book case filled with many books and to the right was cabinets storing many maps and scrolls. He pulled one out and showed it to her. "So where should we look?" He questioned her.

message 28: by Niran (new)

Niran | 681 comments Ayda knew he would laugh at her, most people did when they found out that she wanted to have her ship and crew. He thought she was just a tailor, a simple dress maker. Just a woman who was in over her head. She didn't reply to his comments about her starting her experience on the ship, she kept quiet.
She stepped out of the cell, feeling better about not being locked up already. Ayda took her pendant from him, holding it close and firm. This pendant was very important to her, it was who she was, her past, present and future.
She gave a nod, following the Captain to his quarters, seeing it was much nicer than what the rest of the crew were offered. But then she supposed those were the advantages of being Captain of such a great ship.
She looked at the map, her eyebrows coming together and her forehead creasing.
"I have a few possibilities of where he could be", Ayda stated, shaking her head. She opened her hand to reveal her necklace. Her gold locket was engraved with the language her father spoke, it had a ruby stone in the centre and was able to be opened. She opened the locket to reveal that it was engraved again in her fathers tongue, there was four possible places her father could be.
"My father, before he left, left me this locket. It's in the language he speaks, but it's fine I understand it. The first is Grace Bay near Turks and Caicos, we should start there and make our way around to Gonave Island, then Port Antonio in Jamaica and then Le Marin in Martinique". She gave a sigh and shook her head, "I wonder why he didn't specify where he was in Gonave Island", she placed the locket back around her neck, moving her long hair over it as she did.

Richard smiled as she obviously admired the captain's quarters. "Just think, all of this could be yours in time, or at least half of it." He told her playfully with a smile. He then looked at the map as she explained it to him. "Well I'll tell the skipper to plot a coarse for grace bay." He said to her with a nod then looked over her pendent. "What language did your father speak? We have many people where that speak many languages." He asked her curiously. "There seems to be something different about you, I can't seem to put my finger on it." He explained to her as he went to his alcohol cabinet. "Would you like some rum?" He offered to her with a smile. "Tell me Ayda, why did your father leave you? What happened to your mother?" He asked curious about her life before he met her.

Niran | 681 comments Ayda raised her eyebrows and shook her head, the captain being cheeky and mischievous again.
"Of course", she chuckled, amused by him. She still didn't know whether she could truly trust this man or not, she was cautious and rightfully so.
"My father speaks Arabic. He speaks english too, but he prefers his mother tongue".
She shook her head, "I'd like some water", her throat felt sore and dry.
Ayda's face changed, her expression going from light and amused to sad and thoughtful. She regretted the day her father left, she had done a lot of things wrong, said things that caused a lot of hurt.
She gulped," W-we got into an argument about my mother, I kept asking questions and he just wouldn't reply. He would ignore me and act like I was being outrageous. I know he was hiding things from me, I could see in his eyes that he knew things. We just got into such a big quarrel. I told him to leave and never come back...and he did exactly that". Ayda looked off into the distance, remembering her fathers features and giving a small smile. But she was also angry, she was angry that her father would abandon her, just pick up and leave her. She was hurt too.
"I've never met my mother and my father never told me who she was or how they met or even her name. He doesn't speak of her. I don't even know if she's alive or dead", she shrugged, looking back at Captain Richard.

Richard enjoyed her chuckle and could tell she was having a hard time reading him. He poured her some water and took some for himself then handed her the cup. Then he listened to her story. "I am sorry to hear all of that." He said giving her a half hug to console her. Then he pulled back and looked at her. "Perhaps your mother is in some part the key to all this. What is your father doing all the way out here?" He asked her, knowing they were a long way from Arabic speaking countries. Richard sighed from her words. "Well you are the only woman on the ship. While you are acting good, I can let you use my own quarters as your own. Any books or maps here that are of use you can use and look through. Though I only have one bed." He warned her as he looked at her with a small smile, he was feeling a little bit bad for her. He too had a hard time with his dad while he was alive. But her father was certainly still around.

"It's just how it is", Ayda stated, shrugging. She didn't expect him to console her so she stiffened slightly, as soon as he was done giving her a hug she felt like such a nit wit. She shook her head at herself.
"Perhaps she is, I have no idea", she raised her hands slightly in a conflicted, unsure way. "My father has always wanted to travel and has always been mischievous...he was meant for a pirates life. It somehow just fell on his lap, and opportunity arose and he took it and he made his way up", she continued.
Ayda let out an amused scoff, seeing where his head was going as he stated he only had one bed.
"You would like that, wouldnt you, sharing a bed?", she laughed, making her way to his books and maps and running her hands over it delicately.

Richard watched she tensed up from him consoling her, he thought that maybe he was being to personal with her perhaps she did not enjoy it. He then listened to her words as she spoke of her father and her mother. He then smiled from her scoff. "I of course would not try anything. After all you are not an easy woman." He reminded her then watched as she went to his books and maps. He had many different books, history books, religious books, books on magic, book on mythical creatures, books on medicines, books on poisons. "I like to be prepared and understand that anything can happen." He explained to her about the more outlandish books. You of course are welcome to check out anything you want. Though please treat them with care, you have no idea how hard these are to acquire. He explained to her with a smile.

"You can trust me with your books and maps", Ayda smiled gently, looking back at them with fascination. They were kept so well, not a tear or imperfection on any of the books. They must mean a lot to the Captain. "They're beautiful", she let out softly. Her fingers trailed the maps and books, the feeling of them soft and smooth, inviting her. She moved away from them and walked to his desk, leaning her bottom against it and putting her hands on the side," How did you come to acquire these books, Captain Richard? Did you steal them?", she asked, raising her eyebrows and giving him a mischievous look.

Richard chuckled from her threat. "Well the same goes for you with my books. Damage them at all and well you can think of the rest." He explained to her with a smile. "Thanks, I am glad you like them, I try to take care of them." He explained to her with pride, then watched her rest her shapely rear on his desk. "Well Some I stole, some I bought and some I gave them an offer they can't refuse. It all started with my days as a privateer. I raided a Spanish ship and found a secret Vatican book on werecreatures. The Spanish thought they were encountering werejaguars in Mexico when they were fighting the Aztec. They requested knowledge on how the church dealt with werewolves. And well that started by collection and here I am now." He said to her with a prideful smile.

Niran | 681 comments Ayda let out a small laugh, but nodded and acknowledged his threat. She would do no such thing to his books, she was a book lover and wouldn't dare to tamper with them. She would be as gentle as possible. She could tell they were his prized possessions and that he cared about them very much.
Ayda's eyes widened with excitement as she listened intently to his story. He was definitely fascinating, she couldn't deny that.
"Werecreatures? Werejaguars? Werewolves?", she let out, barely a whisper. Her eyes glistened, unable to hide her eagerness. She looked over at his books, back at him and then to the ground," What of mermaids and sirens? Do you have any books or knowledge on them?". Ayda had always been fascinated by the sea, always fascinated by creatures and the mystical but she was most fascinated with creatures of the sea. The ocean had always called to her.

Richard smirked as he seemed to catch her fascination. He then nodded from her words. He went over to his book shelf and pulled out a book. "This is everything we know about creatures of the sea, from fish and dolphins, to the kraken and Sirens." He said to her as he gently handed her the thick book. "Do you believe in such creatures or are they myth to you?" He asked her curiously as he leaned against his desk with her. He then tried his luck and gently moved his hand to her back and gently rubbed her back to try and calm her and make her happy to be around him. Her kidnapping was more of a stay away from home now with a good room and good reading material.

Niran | 681 comments Ayda caught the book just in time, surprised by its weight. It looked like a hefty book but it didn't prepare her for how heavy it truly was. She sucked in a breathe, holding it firmly and close to her chest.
She felt Richard's hand move up and down her back, the movement becoming warm and soothing. She felt her eyes close briefly, letting all her tension and anxiety go. She looked over to him, he was sitting close, she could feel his body heat on her. Ayda's lips separated as she looked over his features, his lips, his eyes, his hair.
Her attention snapped back to the enormous book she was holding. She got up off of the desk and placed the book on it, her arms feeling relief.
"Everything about the sea...in this book. Magnificent", she mumbled to herself, her fingers tracing the book. She looked at Richard again, shrugging," I am open minded. I don't presume to deny nor confirm anything. I have a lot to learn about the world".

Richard smiled contently as she seemed to enjoy his touch and seemed to admire him as he gently touched her back. He smiled into her eyes. But was soon pulled out of the trance by the book she carried. He watched her put it down then go and sit down. "I have never seen any of those mythical creatures either, but there is so much knowledge on them. I would think they would be real." He explained to her as he walked over to her. He then gently placed his hands on her shoulders and gently messaged her while she sat. "It is supposed to be an encyclopedia." He explained to her as he watched her read and gently eased her worries.

Niran | 681 comments His glistening eyes would be the death of her, Ayda thought. She shook her head at herself for being so drawn to this man. The man who had kidnapped her from her home, the man who was using her to get what he wanted, the man who locked her away, the man who threatened her. This man, who was now massaging her shoulders, making her feel comfort and content. She could go on and on about why it was a bad idea to even think of this man like this, but she couldn't help it.
"I hear stories from people of such creatures. Its fascinating to see it written down and told in such detail", she said, looking at the pages carefully. The handwriting was neat and the drawn images were specific and detailed. But Ayda's mind kept racing back to Richard's hands massaging her shoulders. She placed her hand on his, looking up at him and scowling slightly," You are very distracting, Captain".

Richard could see Anya looked at him and admiring him. He watched herself shake her head. "They certainly thought it all was important." He said to her agreeing with her. He then stopped his hands when she spoke to him. He chuckled from her words. "I just want my guest to feel homely and content. Though this will be more distracting." He told to her and gently leaned to her, kissing her lightly on the lips. Giving her more than enough room to back away if she did not want him yet. He hoped she would accept him and that he did not over play his hand.

Niran | 681 comments Before Ayda could scoff or chuckle sarcastically at his comment about his guest being comfortable, she felt his body and face move closer to her. His lips suddenly touching hers. She was somewhat stunned so all she could do was freeze. She pushed him away, looking at him with a scowl.
"You-You", she could barely speak. She was so conflicted. He was her captor and she didn't want to be manipulated by him. But the touch of his soft, warm lips made feel nervous in a good kind of way. She looked at him intently and gave a sigh, " You can't just kiss me! You're making things very complicated!". She started to pace," You kidnapped me! Locked me away! Threatened me! Those are very serious things, Richard!". She stopped pacing and looked directly at him, biting her bottom lip and putting her hands on her waist.
"But we do deserve some joy", she let out. She looked him up and down and knew she felt a desire for him. She marched her way to him and placed her hands on either side of his face, kissing him back, gently at first but then passionately. She felt his facial hair on her hands and her upper lip.

Richard let her push him back and he sighed in disappointment. He could tell by her hesitation that she enjoyed him. Richard smiled as she spoke of him making things complicated. "Or maybe I whisked you off your feet and gave you your dream. Adventure on a pirate ship." He said to her playfully. He then smirked at her pacing and her biting her lip and her hands on her hips. He was surprised when she marched to him then kissed him with her hands on his cheek. He leaned into her touch as she touched his cheeks. He moved his arms around her waist and his hands admired her shapely rear and hips. He wanted to show her that she deserved to feel good and he could make her feel good. Her passion in her kiss driving his boldness as he kissed her deeply and passionately, his lips smoothly working along hers and enjoying her taste. He gave her a little tongue, trying to see if he could tease a moan from her.

Niran | 681 comments Ayda was enjoying the warmth he was providing, his body so close and his lips moving against her own. She continued kissing him, feeling his tongue enter her mouth. She massaged her tongue against his, enjoying how passionate the kiss was. She moved away from his mouth to kiss his cheek and then to kiss his neck. Ayda moved her face to look into his eyes, breathing heavily and gulping, she felt as though she had been holding her breathe this entire time. Ayda licked her lips and closed her eyes, leaning her forehead against his," Don't get any ideas, I'm only kissing you". Ayda knew eventually she was going to sleep with him, but she wasn't ready just yet to sleep with him. She liked to tease and flirt, she enjoyed the chase and the game.
Ayda slowly let her fingers travel through his hair, soothing and gentle yet seductive," You're a surprisingly good kisser, Captain. For some reason I thought you'd be a rough, sloppy kisser".

Richard gave some groans at her kissing his cheek and his neck. He then smiled down to her and looked her in the eyes when she did so to him. He too was lightly panting from the passion they shared in the moment. Richard chuckled from her words on their kiss. "For now." He replies playfully at her saying she was only kissing him. He then groaned and closed his eyes, enjoying her soft hand in his hair as she moved it through his hair. He chuckled from her comment. Moving his hands from her rear, one hand caressing her cheek lightly and the other lightly combing her hair with his fingers. "I'm been around the block a few times. I sense I would not have you here if I was not as experienced as I am." He teases her playfully. He could tell she enjoyed the game and would make this hard for him.

Niran | 681 comments Ayda was pleased to hear his groans of satisfaction, it made her feel confident and in charge. Which she liked. She liked to know she was in control. She felt his hand on her behind, then she felt his fingers through her hair and on her cheek, something that seemed a little sweet. His touch was rough yet somehow gentle and electric.
"Hmm, not yet", she replied, smirking and looking up at him, a teasing look about her. She closed her eyes and tilted her head back slightly, enjoying how his fingers felt through her long hair.
"I bet you have", she grinned, looking back at him. She knew he must have been popular among the women, a handsome, charming captain. She ran her hands down from his neck to his shoulders, his broad, hefty shoulders.
She moved her face slowly, kissing one side of his neck and then moving to kiss the other side of his neck. She let her fingers slither through his dark hair again.
"Having me on this ship will be very fun for you. I'm going to tease you so much you wont be able to concentrate", she chuckled, looking deep into his eyes, a glint of excitement in them.

Richard could tell she enjoyed hearing his sounds of satisfaction. He chuckled at her not yet comment. He then smiled as she closed her eyes and enjoyed his finger combing through her long sexy mane. He smirked at her words and enjoyed her soft hands admiring his strong masculine body. He then gave her light groan as he loved her lips on his neck and another as he loved her fingers in his hair. He then smiled and looked into her eyes, his own showing excitement and anticipation. "Oh I am sure it will be a lot of fun. I look forward to you muddling my mind. Just so long as you don't mind me teasing you back." He says to her playfully as he pinches her rear with one hand. While his other hand continued to stroke and admire her long sexy hair. Then when she closed her eyes next. He kissed her lightly on he lips. Then kissed and nipped her neck. Licking her soft skin a little.

Ayda couldn't help but smirk at him, his hands all over her body, his warm body pressed up against hers. This man was much more dangerous than he seemed, he was smooth and charming.
She let out a laugh as he pinched her behind and teased her, his other hand caressing her hair.
She felt his lips on hers, gentle yet hungry. The feeling of his lips on hers was something unimaginable, she desired this so much. But what surprised her even more was the way he licked her skin, she never knew she'd enjoy it. But she did.
She pulled away slightly and looked at him, raising her eyebrows and saying, "Well that felt nice". She put her hands on his face and kissed him some more, wanting his lips on hers more. She bit his bottom lip in a hungry manner, letting out a wicked chuckle.
The crew and ship were somewhat quiet, and she wondered if that was normal. She continued to kiss him, but between kisses she asked," Shouldn't you check on your crew, Captain?".

Richard enjoyed her sexy smirk and pretty laugh she gave him. He could tell that she enjoyed the way he kissed her and licked her skin. the sensation must be new to her as she seemed surprised by how much she enjoyed it. He then smirked at her playfully as she pulled back and spoke to him. He kissed her back deeply as she placed her soft hands on his face and kissed him. He gave her a light groan as he enjoyed the hungry way in which she bit his lip. He shirked against her lips as she spoke to him. "Is that you trying to get rid of me?" He asked her playfully as his arms rested around her waist. "I suppose I should go tell them the new baring you gave. And leave you here all alone with no man to hold or admire." He says to her teasingly. Playing games with her, trying to see if she really did want him to leave her.

Niran | 681 comments Ayda gave off a laugh and rolled her eyes, getting into the role of damsel in distress, "Oh no, whatever shall I do without a man to hold me". She felt his arms around her waist, and she couldn't deny that it gave her comfort, it gave her a sense of security and warmth.
"I just want you to check on your crew, it's awfully quiet and quiet is never too good on the water", she stated, looking him in his eyes, the joking and humour gone from her expression. Her father had always told her stories of the sea, and as a child those stories used to scare Ayda. She wasn't sure if they were real or not, maybe he had gone mad at sea, but she wasn't one to completely disbelieve or say something wasn't true.
"Just to be safe rather than sorry", she continued, breathing in.
