Hi! This is my third year participating in the reading challenge, but my first time posting my reading plans publicly. It's become a holiday tradition for me that I really look forward to at the end of each year, spending some time browsing my tbr shelf and dreaming about all the books I'm going to read in the coming year.
In the hopes that I have more success completing the challenge this year than I have in past years, I've decided to choose my books to read for the prompts month by month, rather than all at once at the beginning of the year. I'm doing this because I've noticed in past years that my interests shift from month to month, and in June I'm not always excited about the book I picked back in January. I'm also focusing on reading mostly books that I own already or can get as ebooks from my local library, and on trying to work in some nonfiction and poetry.
January ✅1. A book with a main character whose name starts with A, T, or Y: 2. A book connected to a book you read in 2021: (I read and loved Gilead in 2020) 3. A book with 22 or more letters in the title: 4. A book that fits your favorite prompt that did not make the list: (3 books related to the three primary colors - The Yellow Wallpaper and Bluets are re-reads for me) ✅5. A book by an author with two sets of double letters in their name:
