Ashalena was far from relaxed, though she wanted to be, she looked around trying to figure out what to do.
"How long have you been here for?" she asked.

"I'm fine, I just came here...really." replied Ashalena, "no one attacked me me thankfully.." She looked around the corner to see if the knight was still there and then turned back to Melissa.

Ashalena climbed onto Melissa's back, and waited.

Ashalena held on tightly, she was both amazed and terrified at what was going on.

"That...was terrifying" said Ashalena, who still had not quite gotten over the experience yet. She felt as if she was going through different emotions: fear, amazement, and thankfulness all at once.

"That isn't good" Ashalena climbed off of Mellissa and looked around, but couldn't figure it out where they were either...

But she thought she heard whispering voices for a brief moment, and then they vanished. What was going on?

"What is that?" asked Ashalena, looking around, "who is there?" The whispering suddenly stopped, she looked around and suddenly saw a light in the distance. "Perhaps, we should go there!" she pointed.

Ashalena climbed onto Mel's back again, this time bracing for the feeling again, that she was still not used to.

Ashalena looked ahead, the light which she thought was close to them was getting further and further away from them, it was as if it was trying to lead them somewhere...But where?

Something was off though...

"I don't know...But we should be cautious..." replied Ashalena, unsure of what to do...

The light instead of getting closer and closer seemed to be getting further and further away from them, Ashalena hugged onto Melissa but she felt as if something was very wrong...

The area around them seemed to be getting wetter and wetter...As if they were headed--
"Melissa stop!" she shouted.

"It's probably best" said Ashalena, still holding on for dear life, "if we don't follow the light then..." She was very nervous though, how could they figure out where they were? How could they find someone to help them?

"Where are you going?" demanded Ashalena holding on tightly to Melissa, "what are you doing?" she held on tighter.

"Melissa stop!" Ashalena shook her, "stop, please!" the light kept getting farther and farther away, but the area around them seemed denser and much more dangerous...Like there was something in there trying to get them.

Ashalena looked around and climbed off Melissa, "that's...easier said than done" the area they were in was dense, and there didn't seem to be a clear path back-- and Ashalena thought she heard the sound of wild animals-- even wolves in the distance.

Ashalena looked around, this was great, now what? She could hear the voices, that weren't animals around them...

"Perhaps?" she asked. "We should find shelter, somewhere?" she looked over at Melissa, "like in a house? Because I don't think it is safe to be out in the open like this."

Ashalena began walking, but was certain she could hear voices coming closer to them, she stopped for a moment and looked around the area was dark and she was beginning to grow worried-- what if something came out of the shadows?

I see you there, you cannot hide she heard a voice clearly whisper in her ear.

"Why is it glowing like that?" asked Ashalena, and looked around once more she could feel that someone was behind her and she didn't like it. She shuttered.

You can't run away from me the voice whispered again.

"I know what magic is, but what does its glowing mean? Is it good or bad?" asked Ashalena, trying to figure out what to do about this.

"But what is it saying now?" asked Ashalena, then felt something tug at her, she looked around, and saw a pale figure staring into her eyes, no one else can see me she heard it whisper.

She shuttered, "what do you want from me?"
The thing smiled, I want your life, I want everyone's life, what do you think I brought you here? Your energy is what makes me grow...more powerful

"So you want to kill us?" asked Ashalena to the being, "why?"
Your soul will help me, let me grow said the being. And it isn't killing per say, just stealing
"Well, I won't give it to you" said Ashalena.

Ashalena looked over at Mel, "what do you want?" she demanded.
The voice continued to whisper in Ashalena's though, you cannot escape

(Question: how old is Mel? Ashalena is twenty years old)

"I'm fine...I'm fine" said Ashalena, but it was very forced, she looked over at the pale being who was still holding onto her. What could she do?

Give me your soul or else came the voice again.

(Just wanted to know, because in our other RP there is a huge age difference. XD)

"Nothings there" said Ashalena, in a forced way again, but then she broke through it, "I mean something is there, and it wants me dead, it does!" At that Ashalena collapsed on the ground, unconscious.

Ashalena lay there for a few moments, she hoped Mel would do something, but she couldn't do anything--- She could see the being even though she was unconscious, it had more power now.

Bother, she had to fight against it, she had to fight to wake up.
She tried to wake up, she hoped that Mel would at least try to shake her or do something. She screamed in her dream, but it did nothing...

Eventually she woke up suddenly and stared around. "Mel we need to leave now" she said quickly.

"Back to the castle, just back!" exclaimed Ashalena, standing up, "we need to get out of here!"

Ashalena nodded, "I...know" she said, "But there is something trying to attack me" She paused and then looked down, "it...wants me dead."

Ashalena nodded, "that's a good idea" she looked around, "let's go in that direction" she pointed to an area that seemed to be less dense than the others.

When they made it through the less dense trees, there was a little cottage oddly placed exactly where they needed it to be, no one appeared to be living in it, but it seemed like a good enough shelter for Ashalena and Melissa.

"You don't like it do you?" said Ashalena, looking back at the house, "it is strange that it would just appear like that..."

"...Maybe?" said Ashalena, "we should look at what the cottage is like inside, and if anything is in there we can just sleep outside..."

Ashalena headed towards the cottage, she felt something was off with it as she placed her hand on the handle and began to turn it...
Inside the cottage was darkness, only darkness, but she felt something was off about it.

"Do you have a light?" she asked Melissa.

Ashalena looked at the guitar, "that...isn't good? Is it?" Just then she heard a sound from within the darkness, it was like a whisper like before, but this time both Ashalena and Melissa could hear it.

Ashalena backed away from the door, "perhaps..." she said, "it is best if we sleep outside?"

Ashalena tried to close the door, but it wouldn't close, it just...remained open. "We should...run" she whispered under her breathe.

Ashalena ran after Melissa. She ran as fast as she could but she couldn't quite keep up, "Melissa, slow down!" she shouted.

Ashalena smiled at her, "thank you" she looked around then and realized they had become even more lost in the forest. She gulped, that was not good.

Ashalena covered her ears, though she wondered why Mel had asked to her do that. As it was a strange thing to ask someone to randomly do...
