I'm really bad at introductions by the way - so i'll keep it simple. I like lots of music except country/trash. I'm a dancer/choreo and I also enjoy drawing and reading fics in my free time.

you don't have to go that far into it

Well, this group isn't Customs -- I'm not a group copier.
This is strictly for graphics, not for entire templates.

devo; so when you first open up the customize screen
it should show you the current theme you have as an example with a thin bar on the side
that bar will have all the fast customization options
but you can get codes for other themes
that's usually what I do
but you don't really have to worry about the way your blog looks

devo I feel you on a personal level. I made a tumblr last night and I feel like I'm just stumbling around. It took me like ten minutes to figure out how to follow people ><

Kayyyyy, Devo, you know how websites work, yeah? They're composed entirely of html? That's how your blog works on Tumblr. Basically, you're operating your own personal website thing (well, it's similar; you're own website hosted by Tumblr). That html editing page is where you can edit what your blog looks like. In order to change it, because it takes forever to learn all the coding on your own, I'd suggest using a blog like this one: http://theme-hunter.tumblr.com/
You find the blog setup that you like, copy the code, paste it into the html, and voila, your page looks different. Then Tumblr has that handy easy to use editing page so that you can easily manipulating the html without doing it manually :)

I understand that there was no harmful intent.
But I try my best to not cause any conflict.
As some say, comparison [can be] the death of happiness, and I'd rather there not be anything in this group that could put others down.

I personally used to be a member of the Customs group, only leaving because I wasn't interested in others using my templates anymore, and as far as I'm concerned it's a fine group with helpful moderators, and I do not mean in any way to belittle or challenge that with my group.
