Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion

I wanted to post this here in case anybody else has either dealt with this issue themselves or if they know someone who has. In the last 24 or so hours not only my account but also the account belonging to my partner and one of my book club friends has been deleted out of nowhere. We didn't violate any of Goodreads policies. When I contacted support, they were pretty adamant about our accounts raising red flags about potentially being fake. My partner created another account to replace it and began re-reviewing and rating the books he read in the last month or so, and his account was deleted yet again with the same response from Goodreads. We're getting incredibly frustrated as our accounts are legit and we don't understand why they're being flagged. Does anybody on here have any advise?

That's not good. I've not had this problem. and I hope I don't, but yesterday I tried to message one of my friends and received a message to say that Goodreads could not find him. I looked for his author profile, and there it was. I tried again to message him and got the same response.
I wonder if this is somehow connected and the algorithm is having a wobbly?

V.M., it could be. We narrowed it down to a book we've read a month ago and how we know this is that whenever my partner tries to review it (or rather replace the review) it gets taken down along with the account. It seems like there's trolls on there that don't agree with the fact that we enjoyed it. The sad part is there's legit spam on this site that doesn't get taken down, yet when a troll doesn't agree with a positive review (the only reviews left on that book were conveniently the negative ones) they can report it and it gets taken down.
