Hi Goodreads Librarians, I have the following quote and it seems that Goodreads has removed the closing single quotation mark at the end of 'I'm willing to stand by you.'

Could you please edit so it appears as follows:

“We’re just two people who met and opened up to each other, and we said, ‘I’m willing to stand by you.'”

Hi Alessa
We don't do single quote punctuation within a quote (& when people add quotes it does say there is no need to add quotation marks.

So I have changed it to;

“We’re just two people who met and opened up to each other, and we said, "I’m willing to stand by you.”
