Crumb | 133 comments I’m not new exactly but I haven’t been very active lately. I’m looking for some really good pageturners. Books that are so good.. you can’t put them down. I have been in a bit of a reading slump and I need some great recommendations. Any recommendations for pageturners are greatly appreciated!
Genres I enjoy: historical fiction and fiction
But if it’s just really good, any genre is fine! Thank you!

Nick Duberley | 5 comments Anything by CS Forester - Horatio Hornblower in particular, a swashbuckling hero and naval officer in Nelson's Navy ...

Elmore Leonard - more modern, set in the USA

autobiographical Laurie Lee - Cider with Rosie 20th Century rural England

Clavell, James - Shōgun

I've been slowly adding mostly great favourites to my read list on here. Thousands of books I have read still to add :-)

Hey Crumb. I might be a little biased, because I did publicity for this really amazing debut historical fiction title Out Front the Following Sea. I think you may dig it!
