2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week (Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace)

Hello team! Hope everyone is having a good day. I'm in central Arkansas and it's cold and icy/slushy outside. Yuck.

It's also cold here in central Illinois. Not quite as cold as it was over the weekend though, which is nice. I'm still ready for spring though lol.

Cold as well in Michigan at a balmy 9 degrees F, so much warmer here as well than the weekend when temps were negative.

Ready for spring and sunshine and the days to read books outside.

Hi everyone!
I'm in Australia so a this snow talk is foreign to me! We're expecting mid thirties (Celsius) and thunderstorms the next few days....
Now I need to figure out what time shelf call is over here.

It's 26 degrees F here so I probably sound like a whiner to any one in the northern US. LOL. It is expected to drop to a low of 10 in the morning. To be fair though, we hit 9 last winter which broke some records temp-wise. So we aren't used to very cold weather here. Most of winter is in the 30's and 40's.

So today I'm wishing I was with Belinda in Australia.

Any ideas for team name? I'm so uncreative.
And volunteers for team captain? I've done it before, but I haven't played for several rounds so unless no one else wants to I'd rather sit this one out in order to get a feel for the game again.

I've lived in Illinois almost my whole life, and I still cannot get used to the winters! We've been lucky to avoid snow for the most part this winter (at least compared to previous years), but there have definitely been some cold days! We had a warm spell a couple weeks ago where we hit the 40s (Fahrenheit), and I almost wanted to go out in my spring jacket lol. Now, this week we're back in the teens and will be in single digits by Wednesday. I'm ready for spring!

I would prefer not to be captain, although I could maybe co-captain if we wanted to do that.

Belinda, for our half of the world, Wednesday 1 p.m for Steph is Thursday 8 a.m. (I'm not in Australia, but an hour or two behind you, and not sure of your exact time zone!)

Well, California Wed 1pm is Thursday 8am in Sydney. As Belinda is private not sure where she is, but she'll be able to figure it out from there :)

It's 3PM my time so I'll probably still be at work when shelves are called.

It's 3pm my time as well, so I'll also be at work (although I'm technically at work as I type this so it's not really that big of a deal for me lol). In 4 weeks, I'm making the transition to being a stay at home mom (yay!), so I'd be able to post the called shelf, provided the 5 month old will let me do so lol.

It will be 4 pm my time zone (Eastern). I'll be at work then but have some flexibility to look.

I would prefer to not be captain; as I have a pretty heavy workload right now.

Yes! I'm off tomorrow so I'm going to make sure I've got at least one book to read for each category.

I'm going to be busy for the next couple of weeks. After my days off Wednesday and Thursday, I'm working for 6 days in a row, then I have a long weekend that I'm using to go see my brother and my new niece. So I'm probably gonna start off behind a bit, but I'll get caught up after that.

Now I'm headed to my best friend's house. She just had a rough breakup with her boyfriend, so I'm bringing her pizza and alcohol and have a girl's night since we are both off tomorrow.

I'm terrible with shelf calls....I wait for the shelf, pick a book of the top of my pile and see if it fits, if not I move to next one....

I loved the Mythos Academy Belinda, and I don't generally read YA.

I'm the same way with the shelf calls, Belinda. I used to plan out books for each shelf, but then shelf day would come, and I'd end up picking something entirely different because I wasn't in the mood for my original choice lol.

I'm very highly caffeinated right now, as I've been up since 2:30 with a crying child who refused to go back to sleep until 10 minutes before my alarm was set to go off. Here's hoping I make it through the day without falling asleep at my desk! :)

I don't usually plan out my books, but there are a few categories I don't usually read (sci-fi for example), so I need to make sure I have something for those shelves. That way if I don't, I can start looking for something, JIC. KWIM?

I'm going back and forth between 3 possibilities: , , and . I'll probably start my free space book tonight and then let whatever item is called Friday for the Scavenger Hunt team challenge determine which of the three I pick. :)

I'm actually going to read for this weeks favourites shelf and I'll continue on with for the free space

I've been meaning to try that series for a while now, Belinda, and just haven't gotten around to it. I should see if my library has book 1.

Ok, I hate to do this, but I'm gonna use as my favorite shelf book instead of free space, since it's one of my favorite series. And for my free space I'm going to read , which is on the Best of stand alone novels list.

I'm going to change my free space again (sorry!!) as the mythos academy is not in any group bookshelves/lists :( I'll choose something once I'm finished this weeks read

I'm going to read Soulbound for the Favorite Shelf. I love this series and I need to review this one by Tuesday so I'll be reading this one before my Free Space one.

Hmm, maybe the phone app doesn't work on group bookshelves. I've no clue as I only use the computer.

For now, I'll keep Dark Frost as your free space since Sandra says it's on the bookshelf and that's what you originally wanted to do. If you end up using it for favorites instead, I'll switch it. :)
