Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week (Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace)
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

Hi all! I'm in TN, but feeling like Alaska. It is 20 degrees and snowing right now...we're not suppose to get this kind of weather!

I've lost track of how many times I've played this...but always a great time!

I haven't played in several rounds, either. Book cover colors is new to me as a category...

It's 34° now, and rain is predicted. We have had pretty mixed weather, mostly warm enough to make sure there is no snow cover on my perennials - sure death, sigh

Hello everyone. I live in KY and we currently have about a foot of snow and it is still snowing. This is the worst snow we have got since I was a kid. This will be my first Bingo but I have been doing challenges for years. I am excited to get started.

So I am guessing we need a name and a captain right?

Welcome to your first Bingo Jamie...I know you will have fun! I'm at the TN/KY border and we were predicted 10 inches of snow, but don't think it's going to be quite that much...we'll have to wait and see. The bad thing is is that they are not prepared for this much snow here, and so cleanup is difficult.

I'm not very creative, but here are some rhyming nine name suggestions:

Nine Notorious Book Junkies

I was on team #9 once before, and we were the AssaNINE Book Assailants...I thought that was pretty funny!

Snow? Brr... I'm sure we've got a few cold days left, but it's been in the high 70's for a few weeks now. We've just planted our garden, actually :D

But come July and August, I won't be in love with Tucson as much.

Yay we have a name and yes it was all Lisa because she came up with Notorious I just turned it around and then Deidre solidified it...lol So it was a team effort. See team work already, I think we are going to make a fantastic team ;)

Well, I see what happens when I read the general thread instead of looking at the list. People were talking about how no covers seemed to have leather AND lace, so I spent too much time yesterday looking for those and putting them on a shelf called leather and lace.

So now I see that it is Leather OR lace OR any form of lingerie. ARGGGH!

Now I need to find green/teal, blue/purple, yellow/orange, black/gray, white/beige/pink AND make sure i don't pick the only book i have with a six-pack on the cover because it's green...This is way more complicated that it used to be!

LOL! I kind of preplanned this time. I just made a shelf of possibilities. I'm almost certain I own at least one book for every category, though :D

I just creasted some shelves I could remove, starting with SOS. I have soooo many unread books that I could spend all day finding the perfect one. Which I have done before!

Luckily, I read really really fast, so when the only book that works is book 2, I'll read book 1 for no credit.

What's really bad is that I see many that I cannot remember anything about and I've read books 1-10, but it's been too long. Sigh. One of the reasons it was time to get back on Bingo.

I just made a list of possibilities as well. I have so many unread books on my kindle that I usually don't have too much trouble finding a book to fit the category.

I will start this as my free space book once we get the game started tomorrow - Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop which is off of the group's bookshelf.

I guess the group bookshelf has been neglected. I'm guilty of that. Many series on it haven't been updated. But I did find one that I actually had out to read soon, so it will be my free space book.

I'm going to read Magic Rises
which I've had for over a year, book 6 in the series.

For my free space I will be reading Summoning the Night from the group bookshelf.

I'm not sure about my favorite yet...I'll have to think on it a bit.

I am almost done with Cooper and I changed my mind about my free space book. I think I am going with A Local Habitation by Seanan McGuire. I am in the mood for a little Fay.

I'll read Mine to Possess for free space (found on SOS bookshelves)

and Infamous for the favorites category

Shelf - Favorite - Cooper by Harper Sloan - Read 2/19/15

I love this series but after what happened in the last book I was a little leery about reading this one. I am glad I finally did though. It probably isn't my favorite book of this series but it was still a great read.I think it was missing some of the action and drama of the other books. I felt it was over a little to quick. Regardless it was still a great read and I can't wait to read Locke!!

I probably should have read my favorite book first, but I had been wanting to read this. It was better than I expected. I had never read anything by this author, who usually writes romance, but this was well-done and funny, with a different take on the paranormal cop/PI genre (sci fi or fantasy with cops/PIs combines my favorite types of fiction).

Alex Connor is elected coroner in Pierre SD (trivia, pronounced Peer there, which the book doesn't mention, or maybe I missed it). She is performing an autopsy when "something" happens.

Between her backstory (view spoiler)[ spending time in mental hospital, being on heavy anti-psychotics, and having a demon for a stepmother (hide spoiler)] and the present, the author has a good time, so the reader does too. Precinct 13 is the mysterious cop shop where Alex discovers paranormal cops and more. (view spoiler)[ She is a witch who can curse, literally, or nothing happens (hide spoiler)].

I even went to check for a sequel, but no joy. So went to her website, and after wandering around found that she was serializing the next one, downloadable on something called Watt Pad. So I got it. Apparently she is still adding to it, but that's okay. I hate it when publishers won't continue a series and the author just drops it.

This is worth reading.
