i'm basically done with ascelin, i'm just waiting for the questions I've asked to be answered and the idea i had to be approved so i can add the finishing touches.

Yea of course!

so basically this is a school for evil people (or wannabe evil people). Your characters basically have evil powers, and here they learn to harness them and use them for evil. But, for a little bit of an extra twist, there are also 3 good guys (saviors) who are disguising as evil. Only I know who they are, though they will know each other soon enough. Its basically your typical school RP, but evil!

Aster means star. How about something star related? S/he can be strongest when the stars are out or the more stars she can see; and on overcast days or in a city where the light pollution blocks out the stars or inside a building, her powers weaken and will have to move somewhere shes can see/access the stars for her powers to start up again. Up to you if you want her depowered during the day or ramped up because the sun is also a star.

You can twist the Green Lantern oath:

In blackest day, in brightest night ...

As for powers themselves, there's the standard FISS: Flight, Invulnerability, Strength, Speed.

A few suggestions:

Power clusters derived from the constellations? Like strength of a Bear? The hunting prowess of Orion? Regenerative ability of a Hydra? Etc.

I originally thought about something lunar related as well, but i wasn't sure if i wanted to do it because it might seem to similar to darkness. But thank you, I'll probably take your suggestions and come up with something involving it.

should i make a topic for headcannons and another where students can receive letters and such? (like, a postcard office or something in the school )

I was originally going to put all banshee females in the same room since we only have three, but i figured it'd be best to separate it all into groups of two. that way when a new banshee comes along, they'd be able to room with her.

ITS OKAY I DONT MIND!!!! I know, Caledonia just crops up everywhere I am lol and Katniss sometimes does, so they're around enough, especially cal lol (and sorry I will reply to the ball in Northstar, I've just been busy and my mental health is tanking)

idk. yeah just a thought since I know some are 17 and then some are 12 or 13 so like...its a big gap?

Yeah, I noticed that with lothaire! So I started calling him that in the role play too

with lothaire, his roommates would get replaced frequently (similar to how something always happens to his 'friends') so i think him being dormed with someone much younger would be possible. (it'd eventually get difficult dorming him with those in the same age group after all)

the rest are of similar ages, so i think it should be fine?
I'll keep ages in mind when dorming them in the future though.

I changed it so Vanessa and amethyst are in the same dorm since they are closer to age.

Since Frank and lothaire are three years apart, I'll separate them
