Dragon Heart has been my favorite cultivation series I have read. The MC isn’t able to win based on BS or being the chosen. Also the enemies he faces are multi- dimensional and even a couple I genuinely felt sorry for. Also the MC’s backstory is slowly learned but as you learn a little then the more questions there are. He’s doesn’t miraculously become the strongest then puff goes somewhere else and stronger folks appear. He has hardship and doesn’t always win. Weird to say but he’s relatable and really likable. He sleeps with women and does normal things. I’ve read at least 30 cultivation series and this series I enjoy both the story and the MC the most.
