Actually, selective coloring usually only works if the original picture is color already. The process works by overlaying a unsaturated copy over the original, and then erasing the pieces where I want color to shine through.

However... I could try to play around a little with some colorful textures and see if I can spice it up a little? If you want me to experiment, I can, but otherwise I don't know if I can do much since it's in black and white.

oh! haha I did not know that XD lmao well go ahead and experiment either way. I just would really like to use that pic for a masthead but I need a lil color first

Alright! Yeah, I was thinking I would find some paint splatter / watercolor textures (realistic ones) and mesh them together, and then overlay your pic. ^-^
