Mystery/Thriller Reading Friends discussion

Hello! Extremely low book count this month for me - was away for vacation for a week this month, so not as much reading happening.

Gloria - Bentley Little. 4 Stars

The Death of Jane Lawrence - Caitlin Starling. 4 stars. Interesting gothic novel, though the last third is a little hard to follow and not as compelling.

Origin - Dan Brown. 4 stars.

Hopefully more to come for February! Not a strong start for my 100 book goal for 2022 lol.

Karly, I've had my eye on Bentley Little for a while (though I read horror in very small doses) Gloria looks intriguing!
A good week of vacation is a plus even if it means fewer books read, plenty of time for your goal!

I’ve read all the Bentley Little books. He’s sort of a weirdo and his writing is like bizarro horror but they’re addicting! Gloria could be a good start, other good ones to start with would be The Consultant, The Store, or The Mailman. Let me know if you do end up trying one out!

Karly, two 4-star books isn't bad! Hopefully your vacation made up for the low count.

It did! Definitely worthwhile. But going to prioritize getting that count up!
