Pam Fletcher The author uses the verb "gifted" near the end of the book. Definitely not usage from the 1940s.

The narrator of the audiobook mispronounces perspiration - pronouncing it 'press - per - ation'.

Last the narrator pronounces tulle fog as 'tool' fog not 'tool - lee' fog.
