What are your thoughts on the Darkling?

I feel he's extremely intriguing but I do NOT defend him for his actions. You could say I'm a Darkling neutralist? I stan him as a character as he's multi-layered and in the end, you don't even know what to feel about him lol.

Darkling is hot, I mean the way he defends Alina and in a way kind of cares about her (just for his own purpose) but overall, the ending?? that twist!! He's a villain in his own story that he himself created filled with a never ending darkness.
i think the darkling is a very interesting character. i think i am a Darkling neutralist too. i don't really know how to feel about him but he is very compelling and fascinating
