Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

This author published his memoirs and nothing else but there is listed a jumble of 28 distinct works.
Could these please be merged into three:
The combined volume (in English and French editions)

The same split into two volumes as they more often than not appear either in English or original French

From my English Edition :
"The Memoirs of Baron De Marbot was first published in France in 1891 (Librarie Plon) and translated in English and published in 1892 in London (Longmans Green & Co)"

Most English editions are facsimiles of this 1892 edition

Also, while combine and merge are generally considered synonymous, Goodreads Librarians often use the two words to mean distinctly different things. Please see https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

According to Wikipedia, he published also two other books:
- Critical remarks on the work of Lieutenant-Général Rogniat, entitled: Considerations on the art of war (1820).[15]
- On the necessity of increasing the military forces of France; means of achieving this in the most cost-efficient way possible (1825)

L'Aide de Camp Marbot, Selections from the Mémoires Du Général Baron de Marbot is a selection from the memoirs, so should not be combined with the complete memoirs.

The original French memoirs were published in 3 volumes:
I: Gènes -Austerlitz - Eylau
II: Madrid - Essling - Torrès-Védras
III: Polotsk - La Bérésina - Leipzig - Waterloo

Editions published in two volumes should not be combined with editions published in three volumes.

I've separated 'your' volumes (1 and 2) from the complete editions, and combined them (along with some others) with the other volume 1 and 2 editions, and also combined some other complete editions.
