I didn't like her November 9, Verity and Layla, and think that the idea of love that her novels promote isn't inherently a good one. I don't know if Miss Hoover's ever done anything questionable, but I don't get why she is as popular and hyped as she is, and do not see myself buying any of her other works in the future.

izzy | 4 comments john green! I don't doubt that he has written good books (well maybe a little lol) but the way he portrays and talks about his female characters can be unrealistic and gross, and therefore I don't support nor find his books interesting enough to want to read.

౨ৎ (vxnicebxtch) also stephen king (the way he writes his underage female characters is ... questionable, and i think there's more)

the author of the school for good and evil (forgot his name, sry) queerbaited at then end of book 1 [I'm not entirely sure about him though cause he's apparently queer himself?]

summer⁎ ˚ ˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆ | 6 comments Taylor Jenkins Reid or Colleen hoover because she's overhyped and her writing is subpar, Stephen king because he's very sexist and misogynistic (and a lil racist too)

she's very problematic, there's literally too much to condense into one comment but I'd recommend checking out @spaceshipkat on tumblr and their 'anti sjm' and 'anti sjm behaviour' tag (there's a lottt of content in both tags)

444.kay_0 | 2 comments Jk Rowling for obvious reasons. And Colleen Hoover, because the kind of "love" portrayed in her books are all very un healthy and just not right. It's normalizing the idea that abuse and stuff like that is yes not glamorous but also is normalized.

sarah j maas used a black woman's death to promote her books, she barely has any diversity and is just a terrible writer.
ive never read anything of cassandra clare's but she's had a plagiarism controversy iirc
