Nyssa | 3 comments I discovered that this group does not appear on my "Group Discussions" page because we have not started any discussions. So I am starting one now.

Hi. My name is Nyssa.
March will be the beginning of my 13th year with GR.
I have loved reading my entire existence, and I like participating in non-spammy polls. :)

Edit: It worked. I see the group at the top of my Group Discussion page now. :)

I look forward to taking part in this group.

13 years with GR is amazing - Congrats :) Looking forward to growing this group and discovering new books through everyone else!"

thanks. :) I don't mind removing my initial post if you want to turn this into an introduction post for the group.

Robert (orbert83) | 2 comments Hello. My name is Rob. I’m a lifelong and constant reader.

Favorite books: Contact and The Glass Hotel.

I enjoy cats, hamburgers, movies and spooky stuff. I’m an Aries and I like stuff that’s cool.

One time I wrote RL Stine a fan letter when I was a kid to ask for advice on how to be an author. I got back a form letter saying “thanks for reading Goosebumps!” It was the first time i felt true disappointment. But not the last.

Nyssa | 3 comments Cats are fantastic, beautiful, loving creatures with sharp points! LOL
I can't imagine my life without them.

Ouch - on the RL Stine situation. I hope it didn't dissuade you from writing, anyway.

~☆~Autumn Thanks for the new group about polls that are not silly! I love good polls.

Amanda Mengel | 1 comments Hi everyone! I'm Amanda but most call me Manny. I love to read but am bad at carving out time to focus on it, so GR helps to keep me more on track and accountable.

I mostly read nonfiction: educational books about social issues, memoirs, and poetry but I do enjoy fiction every once in a while. I also love to write and am generally a homebody. When I do venture out it's usually to cemeteries where I end up deep diving into a research frenzy to get the life story of random deceased people whose headstones I find interesting.

I also like to go to cemeteries and do research for genealogy. I also work at FindaGrave.com. There are some very fascinating ones at Crested Butte if you are ever that way.

Tara Woolard (Ehrbar) (dianella7) | 1 comments hello everyone!! I'm Tara, I love to read when I get the free time anymore. my toddler keeps me busy as does work. so my book time has suffered greatly. I try my best to stay on top of new books coming out and just keep adding to the pile and say " there will be a day that I will read all of you" *sigh* so my library on here grows as does the one in my house, which honestly is running out of room. I'm kinda a mixed bag on books cause it depends on my mood, but I do like mystery a lot and physiological thrillers. I'm always down to make new friends cause where I live I absolutely do not know anyone that well to just hang out. so book buddies are always welcome.

Josh Caporale (caponomics) | 1 comments Hi everyone! My name is Josh and I have been on Goodreads since 2011 and have had a Booktube channel since 2014 called Literary Gladiators. I am an eclectic reader, willing to give just about anything and everything a chance. Some of my favorite genres include speculative fiction, horror, science fiction, literary fiction, classics, nonfiction, short stories, poetry, plays, and I may have my eye on getting into historical fiction. I am also attracted to lists, including award winners and nominees.

We are currently holding Roundtable Reads on our channel and I would like to allow members the opportunity to vote in our polls to help determine what our contributors read and then individually review or discuss. Our first Roundtable Read was for "The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue" by V.E. Schwab and our second (and current) Roundtable Read is for "Red Queen" by Victoria Aveyard (videos will be going up in September). We have a lot of great content and contributors on our Booktube channel!

I really like how closely knit this group is and I hope to be able to follow along and vote in polls where I can help members make decisions about books, reading, and literature where they may want another opinion.
