I don't think one has been started yet for Innocent Traitor.

I did miss you guys, and just fyi I FINALLY HAVE MY BOOKS BACK!!! Properly noted quotes here I come!

Two weeks overdue :)
Glad you're back too Colleen but you know that.

I was out of town a few weeks back for a wedding too and when i got back i was surprised how much catching up i had to do.
Sad but true , i was missing my computer.
Are our real lives slowly being overtaken by on line ones ? ...LOL

For the upcoming April group read, I love that so many non-queens are getting votes. I feel as though I have a basic enough understanding of the queens to start and want to continue learning more about the other players.
Here are my one-word thoughts on the queens:
Katherine of Aragon - stately
Anne of Boleyn - seductive
Jane Seymour - saintly
Anne of Cleves - stoic
Katherine Howard - silly
Catherine Parr - stewardess
I would like to feel the same basic understanding for others now as there is so much to learn :)

They're good descriptions of the Queens and it's always welcome when old threads are revived so thanks!
I agree... it's good to learn more about the rest of the women from the time period. Some of them seem to have stories as interesting, if not more interesting, than the Queens themselves.

Aug/Sept 2009: Edward VI: The Lost King of England by Chris Skidmore
Oct/Nov 2009: Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir
Dec 2009/Jan 2010: The Queen's Mistake: In the Court of Henry VIII by Diane Haegar
Feb/Mar 2010: Thomas Cromwell: Henry VIII's Most Notorious Minister: The Rise and Fall of a Tudor Tyrant: The Rise and Fall of Henry VIII's Most Notorious Minister by Robert Hutchinson
Apr/May 2010: The Last Boleyn: A Novel by Karen Harper
July/Aug 2010: To Hold the Crown: The Story of King Henry VII and Elizabeth of York by Jean Plaidy

Aug/Sept 2009: Edward VI: The Lost King of England by Chris Skidmore
Oct/Nov 2009: Innocent Traitor by Alison Weir
Dec 200..."
My computer is acting very strangely. At this time I cannot access any sites that are enclosed with e-mails.
So, I was unable to vote in your poll for the September read. I will read whatever is picked, as long as I haven't already read it.

Seems to me we could either:
1. Not stagger then and have them both start the same time
2. Skip the GR for this group this time, and have the next one for January/February.
I am okay with either.
