I finally finished this book and am a bit amazed to see no-one has commented in this section, whereas many of you seem to have read the book (now or in the past couple of years.
Personally I loved the book. I needed some time to really get into it, but the second half really engaged me. It is a book about loss and love between family members, unspoken feelings, untold secrets, that have a tremendous impact. Each one of them somehow feels excluded, worth less than the others, and the whole does not seem to be a family, a home. But then, towards the end things do come together, are revealed, even though it is somehow too late.
I liked the style of the book. The descriptions, the creativity, the changing viewpoints. It blended well with the emotional storyline.
