Mohamad | 20 comments Hi! I'm thinking of ordering the The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo and Verity soon, do you think I should? And is there any books I should order too?

D | 34 comments Have you read samples of them to see if they appeal to you? I always do that before parting with money.

6 million people may love a book, but that still doesn't guarantee I'll like it. I always, always sample.

Mohamad | 20 comments You're right! Thanks for reminding me to read samples of them!

MarleyTheDragon | 213 comments Sometimes I go on a deep dive of the reviews, reading almost every one. I read the bad ones too to see if they disliked it for a reason I would dislike it.

I read both of those and loved it but they aren't for everyone so I recommend reading the samples and reviews

Lisa Goldstein | 131 comments I get them out of the library

꧁༺ L̴E̴X̴I̴E̴ ༻꧂ | 126 comments I’d see if I could get a sample or borrow it before buying. I usually don’t buy a book until I’ve read a little bit of it to see if I like the writing and characters and where the story is going in general. Reviews are also good to give you an idea of some shared aspects of the book you may find but it all comes down to whether or not you like it :)
