MWM | 1 comments Hey everyone! I am an MIT Grad Student. Similar to yourself, I love to read, especially Sci Fi. I am working on an assignment for one of my classes and I have a few questions that I was hoping you could help me answer...

- Do you read ebooks or paper books? Which do you prefer and why?
- Would you pay to join an authentic community where you could chat directly with your favorite author?
- Would you be interested in buying books outside Amazon ecosystem, directly from your favorite authors?
- Would you be interested in repurchasing a book if it included premium content like additional chapters to previously released books?

1) audiobooks all the way... it's easier to make time to listen than sit down and read, and can be done while driving/working/doing chores/etc...

2) Not sure... I'd need to really want to communicate with author... I usually don't have direct questions I want to ask, and these days there are tons of ways to reach out to authors online...

3) I already do do that a bit, with authors on Patreon... especially short fiction... short fiction is easier to release monthly, unless you're doing a serialize novel, chapter by chapter...

4) Not sure what additional chapters would add to a story, but I like other types of additional content that's sometimes included in ebooks/paperbacks/audiobooks... Notes from Authors about inspiration for the story, historical facts used, bloopers, etc... and alot of authors do Subterranean Press anniversary editions, these days, with additional artwork and unique bindings...
