Mickey | 34 comments I found the Reference List most interesting. I have at least 300 cookbooks and only four of those on the reference list I own. Cookbooks are probably the most published books in existence.

Some of my favorite Cookbooks.
Alton Brown Good Eats tv series is what got me started on home cooking. Each of his recipes in his Good Eats books are associated with a tv show that are archived on Discovery+.
Good Eats : the Early Years, the Middle Years and the Later Years

I also have on preorder for next month:
Good Eats: The Final Years

My favorite books on Bread are:
The Bread Baker's Apprentice: Mastering the Art of Extraordinary Bread

Peter Reinhart's Whole Grain Breads: New Techniques, Extraordinary Flavor

The Homemade Flour Cookbook: The Home Cook's Guide to Milling Nutritious Flours and Creating Delicious Recipes with Every Grain, Legume, Nut, and Seed from A-Z

My favorite one and only, no other book needed for this category is:
Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving

I think this book is no longer in print, but still a favorite.
Making Artisan Pasta: How to Make a World of Handmade Noodles, Stuffed Pasta, Dumplings, and More
