Sorry I didn't get to this right away. Work has been crazy for me. Looks like someone else merged the two editions of Kelpie's Ruin and got the other one added to the series page. But I noticed there were still no page numbers for Kelpi's Ruin. You had said it was 298, but when I looked up the ASIN on Amazon, it's now showing 340, so that's what I added. It should show up shortly.

Maddy | 2127 comments Captain, oh, captain!
What about The good daughter? Do I need to squeeze in another tragedy book before deadline or will they accept it as a GR dark magic?

So sorry Maddy. Weekends are harder for me to get on because the little one is home and craves attention.

I would say yes. That is a weird situation I've never seen before and I THINK (might be wrong) that it needed at least 10 tags to count. I was going to check our books and see if any of them were tagged as tragedy to see if you didn't have to read another one, but I'll only be able to do it later today. But if you don't mind reading another one that would help. Both books will count towards tower Teams.
It's not a tag I personally like so I feel bad asking to read another one... I stay away from everything related to tragic books, but I know some people like it.

Maddy | 2127 comments bummer... At least it had good page count, right? :D

Okay, this time approve before I start - https://www.goodreads.com/work/shelve...

tragedy, 19 tags, page 4

Maddy, we could swap books. I read things fall apart, which is tagged as tragedy 74 times, but is down for first in series on the may challenge. We could use the good daughter as the first in the series and put mine under tragedy. Then you can read something else if you want, as opposed to reading for tragedy again.

Looks good to me Maddy.

I also have to switch my book for the mini x_x had to return it to the library and thought I could find an English version online because I was not liking the translation... Turns out there's only Portuguese or dutch version.... And the online version is only dutch... I don't know dutch lol

message 258: by Keli (new)

Keli | 1321 comments It says it's #1 in the Good Daughter series anyway. Though there doesn't seem to be a number two. 😕

Ohh, let's do that then!
I can read something else for #1 in series :)

Yikes! Time to learn a new language? ;)
Hope you find another book :)

Maddy | 2127 comments I am reading wildfire for botm. It is technically #1 in series so win win :)

Or the good daughter. No clue why it is marked as series though.. Didn't feel like a series to me, but who knows

message 262: by Stacey (new)

Stacey (boydsmom) | 1377 comments Maddy, one of the books I finished that hasn't been used in the mini is a #1 in series, if you don't want to be tied to that task.

Maddy | 2127 comments Ohh, overabundance of options! :)
Let's leave that all to Eni. I will enjoy us finding another tragedy book :)

Thanks everyone :)

I'll swap books later after little one goes to bed. Seems you are free to read whatever Maddy xD

One of the books I was going to read later works for the same thing as my other one, I just need to be able to finish it lol

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments OK I perused the Maze thing. I think I get the gist. I'll check it regularly to see if a task needs claiming and if it's something I can help with I'll volunteer. I'm not very good at coming online in the evening or weekends.

Will we get a June planning sheet soon? Duh. Never mind. I was thinking this was a challenge where we'd start a new sheet every month. But we really don't need to do we.

Eni | 2349 comments @Nanci no need to apologize. Moving and doing house renovations are a pain! Glad it's almost over, so you can rest a bit.

@Keely, the mother of kittens =D i miss having kittens. They're fun. But they end up doing all sorts of naughty things lol I've never had kittens that little though. Mine usually only come home when they're already eating solid foods and no longer nursing from their moms. Hope you get some rest soon, and that the new addition settles in nicely.

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 5588 comments One of the cozies I read has a P character and could be swapped for Paris Library. I marked it on the spreadsheet. The other one works for E and could be swapped for David Copperfield.

Books are:

Dagger in the Dahlias and Evidence in the Echinacea. The P character is in both.

Thanks Mary :) there is backups for almost everything, except the instrument on the cover. That will require me to check every cover of our books x_x

The new kitten is on solid foods. I estimate that she is somewhere between the 6-8 week age. The other kittens are still in the cage setup we have with mummy so all I really have to do is put food in there and clean out the litter tray.
We put a little harness and lead on the older kitten as she kept hiding and running away. She keeps hissing whenever someone goes near, but she is the sweetest thing once I pick her up. We've had some nice long cuddle/nap sessions the past couple of days. I'm hoping that in a couple more days she will stop trying to run away when I approach her so I can take the harness and lead off of her. I take it off her when I sleep anyway because I'm paranoid something bad will happen and I want her to experience some freedom. It's all been a learning experience as I've never fully taken care of kittens on my own before.

Keely (kiwifruit192) | 1813 comments In regards to the maze challenge, I think I understand most of it but I'm not sure how much help I will be either as it takes me a while to finish books. I will keep an eye on it however and when I get close to finishing a book, I will see if it can be helpful for the maze.

I've also updated the planning spreadsheet link, because it kept being weird, even though i've updated it before. Hopefully this time it stays ok!
