A comment about reviews. Why do people feel they need to rewrite the book when they review? The story is ruined for other readers because of too much information - a review should be your opinion on the book not who? when? where? why? !!! A brief synopsis of the story is all that is needed. I look at the star rating and comments but skim over reviews that tell me the story !!!! Maybe reviews should have a maximum number of words applied (not 11552+)

Family secrets, questions never asked and assumptions made that cause family drifts, brilliant story line.
I felt the ending was a bit rushed. but overall a great read.
This is the only Chris Hammer I have read so far so unsure if this is his usual writing style.
