I'll start. My favorite song right now is Sound of Silence. But not the chill mellow version by Simon and Garfunkel. I'm hooked on the cover by Disturbed. It gives me the goosebumps!

Great song!! :-)
I just can´t get In the Summertime out of my head...just rediscovered it through X :-D And I wish I could look as cool as Mungo Jerry :-D

Excuse me while I go devour this song recommendation.

Oh I got ya, I knew this one but didn't know I knew it. Solid classic! And I'm sorry, you are a cool son of a bitch but nobody is as cool as Mungo Jerry!
I'm going back into my early high school days. En Vogue, Free Your Mind. Get that out of your mind, I dare you!

My high school days as well...pure classic 90's!! :-)

Graveyard Trains' Ballad for Beelzebub really sets the mood for reading tales of roads best left untraveled. It's heavy on the country, so you better like the harmonica if you want to check it out.

Nice S.K. thanks for the recommendation! Sounds perfect for reading southern gothic horror and having some tunes in the background.

I will put some stuff in here too. I am all over the place with music.
I love rock, hard rock, pop, country and some classical.
Kind of stuck on the band Nightwish right now - a celtic hard rock band. :)
Here is a youtube video link to one of my songs I like (it is a live video):

That's a cool video Marie, it's like banging opera. Loved the fire everywhere!

Going to have to look up The Dead Weather, what kind of music is it?

It's one of Jack White's bands with Allison Mosshart of The Kills. They're a alternative, blues rock band

Ooh, sounds great. I'll definitely look into that.

I'm a head banging metal lover. My favorite band is Halestorm. Lzzy Hale's vocals are mind blowing (and that's not a typo I promise, it's how she spells her name).

I love that song, Marie. Haven't heard that version of it though, which was great.

That version is awesome!

I listen to it at least once every day! There is a live version where Myles Kennedy joins the band live and if you can believe it, it's even better!

I can understand listening to that one every day. Very good.

Wow Terry! Entering this rabbit hole and not coming out! I love the sound of that. Also listened to their version of Zombie, stunning cover of one of the best songs ever. And the artwork on the videos is spectacular. Thanks for the recommendation man!

Loved that version of Final Countdown Terry! I think I love it better by Damned Anthem than Europe. :) Great find! :)

Haha, I'll quickly hit a wall... I do like these new versions of the old songs though.

I'm a sucker for the epic, orchestral and electronic.

This version is everything.

Wow!! That's a lot of music! I've seen Breaking Benjamin, Paramore and Skillet in concert, they were all amazing! Love live music, we always try to go to at least one music festival per year and I love it. So many great bands all in one place! I pretty much choose which festival to go to based on where Halestorm is going to be.

I've never seen anyone as amazing live as Lzzy. She sounds even better in concert than her studio recordings.

I'm a rocker forever.

Lizzy Hale is amazing! For rocking female singers I also love K-Flay, Janis Joplin, Dorothy, In This Moment and The Pretty Reckless...plus more I'm sure I'm forgetting.
I like pretty much like all music. My current playlist consists mostly of the above mentioned bands as well as Palaye Royal, Rob Zombie, Jimi Hendrix, Kaleo, grandson, Poor Mans Poison, The Tragically Hip, Cleopatrick, Cardi B, and Buddy Holly.

Lol. Absolutely. I almost saw him in concert years ago. He was opening for Ozzy but had to unexpectedly drop out when he got to our city :(

Yeah! Same to your rocking ladies! A lot of these bands follow each other around doing festivals together. So me following Halestorm I've also seen Dorothy, In This Moment and The Pretty Reckless all at the same festival! Rob Zombie was there too. Love your taste!!!
