Nightmares and Dreamscapes discussion

This thread is something different as we the mods wanted to do something different. We will have a Big Buddy Read every other month or every two months instead of a group read. We will pick a genre to read for the month and we will decide what books to read. Then whoever wants to join us may do so. :)

Big Buddy Read months will be as follows:

June
August
October
December

What is the difference between Big Buddy Reads and Group Reads?

Well we the mods decided not to have the Group Reads after all as that involves members nominating and polling the books every month.

We have decided to have the Big Buddy Reads instead where we the mods will pick the book theme for the month and then whoever wants to join in can come over to read with us.

I look forward to finding out what the 1st read will be.
If I may request giving a lot of notice, since I mostly borrow audiobooks from the Library app Libby & the hold times can be many weeks especially if a title is new &/or very popular.

No worries Ian - we will plan it ahead of time. It is looking like maybe we will start in June. Since this is a new group we are going to take our time on getting things set up. :)

Same...unless it's older I find most audiobooks from the library book are out a at least 4 weeks.

I totally understand - it is also like that when trying to get kindle books too. Anything new usually has a million people waiting! LOL
So we will plan ahead. No worries. :)
