This book was awesome! I loved this book Ian! It was the most fun and coolest book I have read in a long time that dealt with horror movies! :) I hope the audiobook does the book justice and the narrator is great. :)

Phillip Black (goodreadscomphillip_black) | 320 comments I don't know if this has been posted in this group before but since I find it really cool from the author:
Adam Cesare's Clown in a Cornfield 2 will be realeased soon and those who preordered a copy will get a signed bookplate from him if you send him your receipt BEFORE the Release date!! I always watch his channel where he talks about horror books and movies and in this video he explains where to send the receipt:

I personally enjoyed the first book a lot and look forward to the sequel :)

Wow, that’s cool! Thanks for sharing that. I liked Clown 1 so I’ll definitely get 2. I like his writing style, and I have a couple I haven’t read yet on my tbr list.

I saw that with Clown in the Cornfield 2 getting ready to be released - I just grabbed #1 awhile back as I haven't read it yet. The first book was on sale for $1.99. I kind of want to read it around the Fall time for more of the mood theme. :)

Sacha Rosel Hello everyone! Can we list any TBR book on our list regardless of the genre? Not sure all books on my list would fit here. Thank you.

I kind of want to read some different things so I noticed some stuff coming out this month - I would like to step back into reading Dean R. Koontz - he has two books coming out this month.

The Big Dark Sky and Quicksilver

Both of those books look really good. It has been a very long time since I have read anything by him.

Next month (August) there are two authors that I have read their work before - one of them is Cheryl Bradshaw - she has a new one coming out next month which is this one: Little Tangled Webs and then the other author Leslie Wolfe has a new book coming out which is this one: The Girl on Wildfire Ridge

With Bradshaw I have a whole bunch of her books and actually have a whole series of books I own on kindle that I need to step back into. With Wolfe I own quite a few kindle books by him too and have read a couple of his books before - they are really good.

It is cool to see some of my fave authors releasing new books.

I haven't read the 1st one, but what a great title!

Phillip Black (goodreadscomphillip_black) | 320 comments @Ian: It's really fun if you're into slasher fiction. It is YA but it really didn't bother me because it is not far away from those R-rated Teen slasher movies in terms of violence...maybe the only fact that identifies it as YA is that there's more romance insolved (and no sex...but that's also not included in the post Scream era movies ;)).
What's also great IMO is that the author tells a lot about the recent situation in the US with his story but doesn't preach :)

Phillip Black (goodreadscomphillip_black) | 320 comments I put Hidden Pictures higher on my TBR now since the reviews on GR are amazing and I love a good mix of thriller and horror :)

Papaphilly | 404 comments For me, I do not have a wish list. I do have a TBR pile that I actually own and if it ever falls on me, all you will see is legs sticking out. Having said that, my number one wish book right now is The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A History of Nazi Germany. There s nothing worse than what man does to man and the inhumanity ordinary people can create.

LOL!!! I guess we will have to come rescue you then if you tbr pile falls on you! :)

As far as the book that would be interesting reading I am sure. My great great grandparents (on my mom's side of the family) were from Bavaria Germany. My grandpa (my mom's father) even changed part of his last name when he moved here to America as he didn't want to be associated with the Nazis.
