What exactly is steampunk? I'm starting this one today.

Cinder is the best example of steampunk
it's like our world, typically, only with sci-fi steam or metal additions - like air ships, metal people upgrades (like Cinder) - things like that. I looked up the defition:

"Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction that incorporates retrofuturistic technology and aesthetics inspired by, but not limited to, 19th-century"

I am enjoying it and it's a quick read!

but is it really sick because they brought it down there? to a place the Blot can't survive? hmmm

I love the way Keenan has taken over to, like, run the rebellion lol

(view spoiler)[This one is so different and now I know what I did wrong. I didn't read book 1 of Hush I read Hush, Hush so that's why I didn't remember a single thing and I was confused! Ugh...lol

Cathal being ravaged by the disease was so awful and so sad, but I figured it was going to end that way. I think the book was such an integral part of the story that I was really upset about that! (hide spoiler)]
