So far the main character isn’t annoying. I actually quite like her personality.
I also am really enjoying the writers writing style

And I think I love the main character and the set up. I find the writting a bit hard to follow but that may be because English is lacking.
nonetheless, the world seems incredible !

I could tell from the Context clues that Silas was a demon. I’m not sure how Elizabeth didn’t catch onto it sooner. The author made her out to be this very clever woman and I find that it’s not in her character to not notice this

@Emily she did catch it sooner (in chapter 6 right when she met him) but he kind of "glamoured" her into thinking he was an unremarkable person, and she forgot right away even tho it kept bugging her.
honestly, it's been a while I have been so excited about a story. I love the world, the events and the characters so far. i think I even got used to the writting so it doesn't slow me like before

The story is pretty much clear. we have a villain, we have an ally and we have a goal, but it's very interesting to see how it will unfold

Why was Nathaniel so reluctant to help her???? I was hoping for at least some compassion shown towards her but he has been extremely cold. I wonder what changed?

explaination will come later. I think I am sprinting through this book a bit too fast, but I do like the characters very much especially the dynamic between Silas and Nathaniel
