Hi Bill, thanks for the tip, I'll certainly check the thread and the bookshelf! :)

There are some great authors in the mystery/thriller field. Here are a few suggestions:
**For Sherlock holmes may I suggest Laurie King's Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes series.
**for a good adventure: Steve Berry.
**for good mystery: Kathy Reichs, Michael Connelly, Linda Fairstein, Jefferson Bass
**for spy/thriller: Daniel Silva
I could go on and on...but a good start in the genera.

Thanks for the suggestions, Krishna! Very much appreciated :)

Thank you!

Hey Wendy, thanks, I like my name too(although not so much when I was little), but it's usually hard for foreigners to remember the spelling or say it, so Jo is the easy option:). I've been procrastinating for the last week or so, I just focused on reading, but I'm eager to get involved in this group, discuss with others, etc (as much as I can, I haven't read a lot of mystery, thriller books). And I agree, books and book talks can help you learn more about other countries, or cultures. :) Thanks for the comment, have a nice day!
