Rules:

Use this thread to find your buddy and determine your book! You can always start by posting books, authors or genres you are interested in! When you decide who you buddy and your book you will head on over to the FINAL SIGN UP thread (see link at bottom) and tell me your book and buddy there (there will be instructions to follow) If you are without a partner by the end of sign up I will try to match the remaining people up, so no worries...EVERYONE will have a buddy:-)

1.If you want to participate post your name and maybe let people know what genre(s) you are interested in reading and or any books that you're interested in reading.

2.If you already know who you’d like to read with, go to the Final Sign Up thread and post your information for me!

3.Whoever doesn’t have a partner, we will try to place with another person and you guys can pick a book together! If we have an odd number we can have groups of three, more people to discuss with!

4.I will create Buddy Discussion Threads for each Buddy group and you will be able to start reading and discussing.

5.The challenge will span a month.

6.For each group we can set up a thread so the two of you can discuss without having to sift through a bunch of other conversation.

7.You CAN sign up for more than one Buddy Read...in fact it's encouraged!

Once you have a buddy, go to the March Sign Up Thread and post your book and your buddy.

I will try buddy reads. Never did that before.
Okay I din't know what book I want to read.
I love Fantasy/Paranormal and Contemporary Romance.
Don't like M/M books.
And I like to read a book which will be released in this month.
And I a kinda fast reader. If a book is about 300 pages i can finish it in one day sometimes two or three. And I live in Lithuania so there may be time difference.

If you end up buddy reading Asylum, I may read it with you but I'm kind of on the fence with that one.. The story sounds interesting but I heard the narration is less than stellar...

it's done. She gave a rant about how some authors were stealing her style, plot, cover, title etc so she isn't releasing details anymore. If i find it, I'll pm it to you.

I have never done a buddy challenge or done anything with this group yet. I would love to get to know other book lovers. I am alone in my paranormal romance book addiction with family an friends. They all consider me nuts an I consider my Mother who loves horror autopsy novels crazy. Lol
It would be great to read an talk to someone while I am into the book who is interested.
I am a huge fan of
Gena Showalter, Larissa Ione, Jacques Frank, J.D Tyler, Correen Calahan, Christine Warren and Lara Adrian. Many Many others but thoughs are my top. So I an into Shifters, Vampires really anything supernatural with tons of romance an lots of heat.

Hi Sprouting. I am in the same boat. My husband has forbade me to reveal to my RL book club that I read "those werewolf, vampire books". He doesn't mind Zombies, but he draws the line at everything else.

I'd like to try a buddy read, and am open to suggestions... I prefer mysteries, especially cozy mysteries, but am also fine with cozy romances and classic literature. i read rather fast (usually less than a day for most books, rarely more than 2 days unless it is something like War and Peace or Dante's Inferno). I also love British whodunits and some non-fiction in history and even philosophy. Not into vampires or werewolves or zombies, but will read stuff about psychic paranormal and some sci-fi/fantasy.

Here are the books I plan to read in March if anyone is interested in a buddy read:

I'm kind of the opposite. I only read the 2nd book if I've enjoyed the first. I know I should give a series the benefit of the doubt even if the first book is only so-so, but there are just so many series out there that I want to try.

Your way is probably way more financially smart!!! But my way does stop me (in some cases) from buying at full price because I've started a series and now I HAVE to finish it (or read the next one RIGHT NOW). I try to wait to start the series and buy as many of them as I can on sale. Doesn't always work, though. Sometimes I'm just too eager...

Awesome! Love your name by the way. My nickname growing up was Lana Lu because my hair looked like Little Lulu's only red! Hopefully The strain will live up to the hype I've gotten and we can continue with books 2 and 3 as well.

I hope you like . I loved it. Definitely the best of the series.

First time doing buddies reads here.
I like PNR/UF, historicals, contemporaries, some YA (usually dystopoian or PNR) and new adult.

Haha, thanks! Alana is such a pretty name too - reminds me of Song of the Lioness! I'll be hoping so too, since I've already bought the second one when it was on sale on Kindle!

Last month in her blog Nalini Singh gave an email address to anyone who wanted to review her book who does not have a blog and willing to write a review for goodreads, amazon, b&n. If you miss out this time, keep an eye out about two months before the next Rock Kiss book comes out.
