This is a debut novel and I loved it. When 4 year old Sally goes missing, it puts the whole town on edge, but especially impacts the families on her street.

Righteous Prey by John Sandford 5/5
Lucas and VIrgil team up to track down a self proclaimed vigilante group responsible for serial killings. Lucas is snarkier than usual resulting in some fun banter. I don't recall a book where they worked together like this before, but with my memory that doesn't mean much

Nice month Dawn, Lucas and Virgil together sounds good for this fall’s Righteous Prey. Like you said, with all the books we read sometimes the details blur a bit on whether something happened before.

Lucky you, Dawn. I seem to remember Virgil being called in to work a piece of Lucas's case but nothing where they are side-by-side. Can't wait to get my hands on it

Sandford has been changing up Lucas for a while now. I was surprised he didn’t appear at all in the new Letty book.

I'm going to look for Our Little World. I was a new mom in the 80s so that period interested me.

I cannot confirm nor deny that Letty might make an appearance in Righteous Prey

I don't think they've ever had equal parts in a book like this. I really liked it!
