[ The Country of Katos ]

In it's founding, the country of Katos was once a unified land. A prosperous nation that existed peacefully under the rule of its monarch, there was little contention among the citizens. However, as the years passed, they began to realize that it might serve them better to be separate countries. While the population grew and interests polarized on either side of the country, a decision was made to split East and West. Done so amicably, new rulers were decided by the last monarch.

Peace would be maintained, but tensions between the two would begin to mount. The East, while blessed with the wealth of natural resources, had begun to struggle with the limitations of their separation. Talks to merge once more took place before the fall of 1967, when the king of the West died suddenly. Those in opposition of reunification used this as a means of reversing the late king's agreement, going to war with East Katos.

With the West winning the conflict, they took most of the resources from the East, leaving the city to suffer and eventually turn into what it is today. The years have been kind only to the West, prospering off resources claimed after the war as the East remains destitute and struggling.

West Katos

Also known as the city that runs on dreams, this bustling metropolis once started out as a mere idea in the mind of a young girl and is now one of the most vibrant and virtuous of all cities. People from far and wide come to watch as their dreams come true. Come and bring your family and friends to enjoy all that this extravagant city has to offer.

East Katos

East Katos is a city struggling. A city crawling up from the belly of the beast that was the war. The struggle has not been kind to the streets or the citizens of the city. They try their best to make ends meet, though not always by honest means. The city itself is falling apart, with the citizens holding the worst at bay however they can.
