Antonija (azragni) Hi everyone,I'm Antonija.

I'm a big fan of Jo Nesbo and Kathy Reichs. I love books with forensic elements.

I look forward to investigate good books with you all :)

Bill Welcome to the group, Catnip. You might like Patricia Cornwell's stories as well, definitely feature forensic elements and also Jefferson Bass' Body Farm series.

Antonija (azragni) thank you Bill :)

I've been meaning to read books written by both of them, my best friend is a big fan of Patricia Cornwell and is always talking about her books.
I have to get started on those!

Skye | 2105 comments Hi there, Catnip; Patricia Cornwell is a wonderful writer to try.

Antonija (azragni) Hi Skye.
I'm putting her on top of my list as soon as I finish my February reading challenge :)

Wendy | 581 comments Welcome!! Catnip, be sure to try to read the Cornwell books in order as the characters grow older etc. as the books progress. I personally read the first 10-12. Apparently they decline in quality later.

Thank you Wendy :)

Oh, I will, I don't really like to start any series from book number 3,4 or any other (little bit of OCD hahah)

That's too bad, but then again... 10-12 books that are really good are heaven.

Well today most of the books lose their originality after few sequels.
I read four books from James Patterson-Women's murder club and I just couldn't force myself to pick up the fifth one. It just didn't intrigue me anymore...

I agree with you, to a point. There are a few authors such as Arnaldur Indridason who keep things fresh with every book in the series. For the most part, though, I will only do series novels from a very few people any more.

I haven't heard of him, but I have to admit, these descriptions sound really good.

Completely understandable, beacuse it is getting harder to find a book that is unputdownable these days. :/
