Alaina, just double checking. I need to read and find objects in alpha order, but I don't need to worry about the order of the other team members, right?

The objects have to be found in alphabetical order. So, as a team, you are all working to complete the alphabet.

Do we have a spreadsheet and can we use banked?

I didn't create one for this challenge.

I’m a bit confused. If someone posts an A and I read for B but someone beats me to it then we could ping pong, or will we post for our letters?

If two people post for the same letter, then I would just put one on hold until it works for another letter. Unless I can do some magic to make it work for another upcoming letter.

FYI...

If you accidentally post out of order, which can definitely happen lol, then I can put it on hold until your team gets to that letter. You can always change it to more recent letter if need be.

Just a heads up, if it makes things much easier for teams, I will create a team spreadsheet and upload them tomorrow. I will also add everything that has been posted already as well.

To me it just seems confusing to keep track of letters but idk what others think

You could use it for 'Ice' with the letters in the title?
Or Ice cubes? Pg. 183, "Then he takes a drink, rattling the ice cubes in his glass."
Or Ice Box? Pg. 183, "His deep-set eyes gleam like ice." Pg. 27, "I have to smile at the tiny box."

Does the X word have to start with X or do we have alternatives we can use, such as X in a word such as index finger?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... that is a good question. I know you can find words that start with X if you are reading the right book. I guess I should allow words that have the letter X in them as well.

Looks like we just need Z and we are done with Round 1!

We are getting ready to go for a scenic drive so we will be in and out so I’m not likely to get one done before somebody else does. But I do have a book I started a few days ago that I need to get back to you so there is a possibility but posting it would be hard for me. But if I do get one finished and post it I probably will put it in this thread since I’m using my phone because I won’t be able to get it on the spreadsheet and doing the review would be difficult so I’m not probably going to happen. Unless I can post it and do my review when we get back later this evening.

lmaao. I have one book that I couldn't post yet that I finished yesterday. Hopefully it works for any of those letters in the next round too.
