I'm starting.
I read this a few years ago and enjoyed it, so I'm re-reading it now. Listening to the audio this time around.

I agree. I like her, too. Lia had no idea who she was really going to marry. It looks like there is going to be a love triangle, maybe.

Finished. I don't usually like love triangles but this one seemed mild. I feel like the author did a good job keeping "The Prince" and "The Assassin" secret. I didn't know who was Rafe and who was Kaden.
I like the Prince a lot. The fact that he was only upset that Lia ran because she had the guts to do it when he didn't...

I just finished. I agree it really wasn't a true triangle. I really like Lia. I liked her determination. I liked Kaden despite who/what he was there to do. I also like Rafe. He fought a match with Lia. I want to know the true significance of what Lia took? I would love to finish this series.

Book Description:In a society steeped in tradition, Princess Lia’s life follows a preordained course. As First Daughter, she is expected to have the revered gift of sight—but she doesn’t—and she knows her parents are perpetrating a sham when they arrange her marriage to secure an alliance with a neighboring kingdom—to a prince she has never met.
On the morning of her wedding, Lia flees to a distant village. She settles into a new life, hopeful when two mysterious and handsome strangers arrive—and unaware that one is the jilted prince and the other an assassin sent to kill her. Deception abounds, and Lia finds herself on the brink of unlocking perilous secrets—even as she finds herself falling in love.
