Welcome to the Take a Hint, Dani Brown Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on June 1st and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Each day we will be reading by chapters or page numbers. Page numbers are an approximation based on the hardcover or paperback that is the default on Goodreads. The suggested Buddy Read discussion schedule is as follows:

Hey all, this week has been a beast but will catch up this weekend.

Hey everyone!
I am really enjoying this book, Dani is much more exciting than Chloe was.

Just finished Chapters 1 and 2. Dani is fierce and I already love Zaf. I like the edgy banter. I'm not sure I find the current situation at the moment but all in good fun.

Chapters 3-6

Good chemistry between Zaf and Dani. I really like their families too and look forward to more family interactions and the kiddos in the foundation. I forgot how explicit Hibbert is and maybe it is just Dani's character. I don't mind it but still slightly blush when interrupted while reading in public. :)

Zaf is so lovely. I hope he doesn't get hurt. I assume a compromise will work out between the love for romance and the disdain for it.

Hibbert really dug deep into the sexy parts with Dani because I definitely don’t remember Chloe having this much “sexy talk” in it. Jen I only read this one at home lol. Zaf is such a great guy and I am rooting for him to win Dani over! Dani is so ambitious and career driven so I really hope she let Zaf sweep her off her feet and heal from her past relationship(s)/situationships.

Chapters 7-9

I also enjoy how passionate both are about their work (well, Zaf's foundation and Dani's work). It is so sweet how Zaf keeps supporting her and breaking her expectations on how others saw her passion for her work. Hopefully she does let him help her move on and realize she could have both a relationship and her work.

I'm in a hotel and so lots of reading in restaurants right now but all manageable. :)

Finished this today. Read most of the second half on a very small plane next to a big guy and tried not to turn to red!

I enjoyed it. I liked Zaf and Dani. It did seem to drag a bit in the middle with a bit too much detail. I would have enjoyed more of their interactions with others but it was a fun read.

I forgot to come back and share my thoughts on this book. I absolutely loved this book. It was very steamy and the relationship between Dani and Zaf was unrealistic but I loved everything about it. I loved the way it ended and I cannot wait to read Act Your Age, Eve Brown. This book was better than Get a Life, Chloe Brown. I rated it 5 stars

Nice! It was a fun one! Dani and Zaf were pretty great.
