"I'll pay you." She stood there, arms crossed

S: "do you think money will really work? is that what you think all people are after?"

Hitori still remained silent.

"I mean, that's what people usually want when I need help." She shrugged

S: "yeah we're just going to go come on hitori before Jack starts lecturing us about being on time again"

Hitori nodded.

She sighed, "I can manipulate reality so you don't be late?"

S: "meh i don't have a reason to trust you or any hero for that matter"
Hitori pulled his phone out.

S: "anyways bye"

She groaned and turned seeing Mei-Lin, "Baby Mei!"

Mei-Lin kept her head down in embarrassment, "Go away."

Shiro's phone rung.
S: "we're too late"

"Oh but Mei, come give your sister a big old hug!"

Mei-Lin turned to her, "You want a hug?!" She went towards her and pushed her all the way to the entrance, "Ask mom and dad for one, I'm sure they'll give their daughter who they love more. Than me. The biggest hug." Mei-Lin spit on her, "Go bother someone else."

Jack was lecturing from shiro's phone.

The woman stood up, almost in tears, "How could you treat your sister like this!?"

Mei-Lin growled, "Your not. My sister. You'll never be my sister! WHY DON'T YOU JUST WARP YOURSELF TO A REALITY WHERE I DON'T EXIST. I KNOW YOU, MOM OR DAD! DON'T LIKE ME."

Shiro and Hitori watched.

"Mei-Lin! How dare you!! I am your sister!"

Mei-Lin teared up, "Someone as stupid as you couldn't possibly be my sister. I hate you. And I hope your never happy in your life. What did I do to them to be an outcast? In my own family! I worked harder than you. And you just got everything handed to you! You asked for it boom you got it. I asked for it, I have to work my butt off for it. So I'll say again. You aren't my sister." Mei-Lin wiped her face

Shiro put his phone away as he kept watching.

The woman held back tears, "Baby Mei, I had to work too," she reached her hand out

Mei-Lin scoffed, "You think I'll fall for that again, you batting your eyes. Your soft voice. You think, I'll cave? Well, you obviously don't know me like you thought." Mei-Lin ran off crying

S: "well that was interesting to watch"

The woman stood there, tears falling

S: "should we help?"
Hitori shook his head.

Mei-Lin panted, sitting down in the bathroom, crying

S: "a family issue hmmmmmm"

Mei-Lin grabbed her stuff from her desk and went back to the garden to get the rest.

The woman followed Mei-Lin, "Mei-Mei! Please, just. Come home with me!"

Shiro and Hitori watched as a guy in a black jacket walked over to shiro and hitori.

"NO! I'm moving out. I have enough money now.."

The guy pulled shiro's and hitori's ears.

"I'm thinking of not even becoming a hero, after all, even when you die. I'll still be in your shadow." Mei-Lin walked to the entrance of the garden, seeing the guy, she went over and pulled his hands off them, "What are you doing to them, I'm sure they did nothing for you to touch them at all." Mei-Lin covered them with her wings

S: "what the hell kuro?!"
Kuro looked down at them.
"who is this suppose to be?"
Hitori remained silent.

"I'm their senior. Who're you supposed to be? Low budget kidnapper?" Mei-Lin looked him up and down

S: "ummm he's my older brother"
"oh well i'm sorry for the trouble my younger brother has caused"
Hitori remained silent.

Mei-Lin lowered her wings, "Oh, well sorry, it's my fault, I mistook you for a pervert. Mei-Lin. ...Mei-Lin Chang" She nervously said her last name hoping she wouldn't be referred as the hero's sister again, she held her hand out

"hm i'm kuro i own a dojo in town"

Mei-Lin smiled genuinely for the first time in her life, again, "That's cool, dojo's are the best thing to exist!"

"well for normal people it is better to learn to defend themselves"

"True," Mei-Lin smiled

"well i nice to meet you i guess now come on you 2 we got a "job" to do"

Mei-Lin covered the two with her wings again, "Sorry, but school policy says a student cannot leave school grounds unless they are given permission or a hero is there to accompany them."

"shiro is just a visitor and hitori has permission from the school"

"Fine." She let her wings down and grabbed the two by their ears, hard, "Don't get into any trouble. Be nice, go on now."

S: "like hell i would listen to you"
Hitori still remained silent.

Kuro sighed. "these idiots"

Mei-Lin squeezed their ears harder, cutting the two's ears with her nail, "Just behave. Hear me." She gasped, pulling her hands away looking at them, she gulped, "I'm so sorry, excuse me." She ran away from them
