Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hi, it seems webtoons and webcomics have been changed so that the authors are now NOT A BOOK. Well, they aren't physical books, but taking out the author cannot be the solution, since then it's hard to find these. Many have both the webcomic form and a physical form, like Lore Olympus, and now those don't end up under the same author. Why this weird change? Wouldn't it be easier to add the form somewhere else?

The print or ebook version of a Webtoon is counted as valid on Goodreads (if from a source considered valid on Goodreads), the Webcomic version of the story is not.
