Hey Shannon! Thanks for the question! You just say something like, "I second ______", and I'll tally up all the nominations and seconds once people have added their input.

I second Heartless and second The Silmarillion! (I'm also wondering whether I can second The Silm twice xD.)

…Can I just say I second anything CS Lewis or Tolkien 😂"
😂😂😂 Yes, you may! At least until you run out of seconds lol.

Ooh, Shannon, I actually didn't notice that it wasn't you who nominated The Silm until now. Thanks for that, Helena!

Heehee, you’re welcome! 😂 I’ve been wanting to read it.

But you know I was totally on that same brainwave lol"
XD Of course, of course.

I second Horse and his Boy and Till we have faces

Just a clarification that the Heartless that was nominated is by Anne Elisabeth Stengl. You can totally nominate Meyer's Heartless, too, though!

It's okay! I'll count it like that when I tally everything. :) I've heard both authors' books are great.

Hi Helena! Sometimes my schedule doesn't allow me to keep up exactly on time with everything, but I'm hoping these nominations will be completed at the beginning of August. That being said, this is the first time we've done a BotM for two months instead of one, so it's as new to me as it is for everyone else. :)

I'm reading Dust right now, and it's phenomenal!

All right, awesome! By the way, Helena, I'm thinking about starting a monthly spotlight on Christian indie authors. If this does end up being a thing, I'd love to feature Princess of Undersea sometime or another!

Ok, cool! That would be a wonderful feature.

Hey Isabel! Thanks for stopping by! You're right: three is the limit for nominations. You can also second three other books, though!

No problem!

That’s not fantasy, unfortunately :////

This is the thread to nominate books! Please follow the guidelines below when nominating.
1) You are allowed to nominate a maximum of 3 books for each month's BOTM.
2) The book(s) you nominate must have fantasy as a main genre and be clean or relatively clean.
3) If you can, try to nominate books from Christian authors as much as possible. It doesn't have to have obvious spiritual themes, but please don't ever nominate a book with theme(s) that clash with biblical truth.
4) If someone has already nominated a book that you wanted to nominate, I will only be picking the top 3-6 nominations to vote on in the final poll, so the more nominations a book has, the more likely it will become the BotM.
5) You can second a total of 6 books or (nominate a total of 3). If you're going to both nominate book(s) and second book(s) as well, you just have to make sure you don't exceed 3 nominations per month and 6 in total (seconds + nominations). Hope that makes sense!
Also, please do not nominate any books that we have already read in the past twelve months. You can view the books Faith & Fantasy has already read here.
Nominations will be open until the middle of August at the latest, and then I will send out a poll for all of us to vote for the BotM based on this thread's nominations.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask them below.
