Looking at this books' World Cat listing...
Are the maps & genealogical tables after the text. & are they included in the 554 pages?

Nope. The introductory materials finish on page xxxix, and the genealogical tables & maps take up the following six pages (three spreads, unpaginated). Page 1 is the beginning of the poem itself; page 554 is the last numbered page of the book—the last page of the Acknowledgements.
