Authors reviewing other authors with a minimum star rating required (can't post anything under a 3).

So yet another group (of which there are dozens on GR now) of authors trying to manipulate reviews and ratings. You could try selling books, reaching genuine readers, and letting reviews/ratings occur organically.

At the bottom of the rules on reviewing, there is the consideration that, if the book isn’t worth three stars, then don’t leave a review. I read that as, rate it at 3 or better if you can, but if you can’t, don’t rate it at all. So if you can’t leave 3 stars, don’t leave any. If you like the book, rate it. If you don’t, don’t rate it.
